300years, Is It Really Today?

i know it sounds like a daft q but....

just wandering, when is the 300years gurgaddi divas?

i was at the celebrations in loughborough, but i dont know...for some reason it doesnt feel like a gurpurab today. theres nothing on alpha to show coverage from hazoor sahib, they did no ardas to commemorate the 300years, there was no jaloe sahib.

so how come, harmandir sahib hasnt celebrated the 300 years (which i thought was today)?

technicaly i beleive it was actually in 1999, 300 years after Guru Gobind singh instructed the panj pyare to matha tek to the guru granth sahib on vaisakhi.

The actual date as celebrated by Sachkand Sri Hazur sahib and the real puratan date is the 30th of October!

Yes you are right Hazur Sahib is celebrating on 30th But All other Gurdwara's Including Shri Harmandir Sahib Darbar Sahib and Akal Takhat according Nanakshahi Calendar its on October 20th.

takht sri patna sahib, all taksals and sant samaj are celebrating it on the 30th. that is the actual date , not oct 20th which purewal just plucked out of the air

Its fine because people are celebrating the Whole Month
