Windows Vista Gets Stuck On Start Up

doesnt look like there nething in there that will cos serious problems however after the cleanup if u still cant start normally id advise you download Winternals ERD Commander 2005 v5.0 BOOT CD (i can upload to sikhroots server if u need)

once in there thres an option to scan and repair system files.

Yh it still don't work ,would the wininternals programme work on Vista Ultimate?Would be great if you could upload it to sikhroots,

The dismounting thing was told to me by a mate,he aint no expert asked him how do i do that he said he dnt remember

right... i cant seem to find a official way to repair system files... but if u can log into safe mode and run cmd prompt as administrator and then once in type

sfc /SCANNOW

that will scan system files and make sure they are not corrupt... if they are then id suggest we rebuild (recover data first)

Ok i re did the scan and it worked to 100% and is now saying:

''verification 100% compelete. Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

Details are included CBS.LOG windir\logsCBS\CBS.log for example

c:\windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log ''
