Can I Remove My Kara In Self Defence Classes

Dear all.

I have a currently doing Martial Arts, in which there is a lot of close quarter sparring/grappling etc.

I was wondering if I am allowed to remove my Kara when undertaking such activities. I wonder if anyone could help.

Nope, just wear a smaller thin one. or u can get a wristband like th ones tennis players wear and cover your Karra

no......u cant. its a kakkar. wud u take ur kesh off???no same with kara. i also do grappling if its ever an issue ill put a sweat band over my kara.

Be practical.. as Sikhs we aren't bound by rules, but rather discipline.

I used to go Martial Arts class, you can either tie it in your dhumala, kamar kassa, or simply just put it in your pocket.

Hi, I am maybe not the right person to comment on this (being a non-amritdhari) but I take my karra off and put in the pocket when I play the guitar. Sorry if this isnt helpful! :S
