Although I do think tabla could have been much better than it was :umm: Tabla needs to be exceptionally good while playing with raag kirtan.

With actually hitting and getting the correct sound or with keeping in beat/applying certain mantra?

Both really. I did notice he went off beat a few times, it happens to the best of us Just need to be extra careful while playing with kirtan

There's people like me who after learning tabla for a few years tend to notice even when little things go off, which is not a good thing. I wish I could stop doing it but it happens automatically which is a distraction from kirtan.

Tabla should be very clear and crisp as well, but that's just what I think
