AK47 on Baba Santokh Singh Jee

When we met Baba Ji, rather then resting in a nice air conditioned mansion, baba ji was lying down on a broken manja with a really messy chola on and was looking after cows in the back of some farm. To look at him you would think just some tired old man was lying there!

When the singhs took us to meet him, he said fateh and took us into a room and sat down. everyone expected him to start talking, instead he called another younger singh in and said, tell them some sakiha about guru nanak dev ji! For the next 2 hours or so the singh spoke about guru maharajh and nobody moved a muscle (room was full and this was mid august no fans or anything!) at the end, he said everyone have langar before you go! It was so the oppossite of what all the anti-sant brigade think of what sants are like!

One singh asked him about Sant Jarnail Singh Ji, and baba santokh singh ji smiled and said 'oh ta mera jarnail ah' it was like he was talking about his own son and he had such a beautiful smile on his face as he remembered sant jarnail singh ji!

Love between Gurmukhs

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Sant%20Jarnail%20Singh-036.jpg

Sant Baba Thakur Singh Ji Khalsa used to have a very unique relationship with Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa. It was a relationship based completely on love.

Sant Ji always used to consult Baba Ji on many different matters. When Baba Ji and Sant Ji would speak very few could comprehend what they were talking about. Baba Ji and Sant Ji lived on a separate plane reserved specially for those beloved Gurmukhs who had already reached the feet of Dhan Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj.

One time during the Dharam Yudh Morcha, Sant Ji had a very serious look on his face. He kept pacing up and down a room he was in as his mind was lost in thought. There were several Singhs who were sat on the floor. They clutched their weapons in their hands as they awaited the orders of Sant Ji.

Just as it looked like Sant Ji was about to speak, the doors of the room opened and Baba Ji walked into the room. As soon as Sant Ji saw Baba Ji his face lit up as he began to smile. Sant Ji in that single moment seemed to forget everything as he hurried towards Baba Ji.

When Sant Ji got close to Baba Ji he quickly bent down to touch Baba Ji’s feet. As Sant Ji did this he felt someone touch his legs. Sant Ji immediately lifted his head up to see who it was. As he did this he was greeted with Baba Ji’s eternal smiling face. Both Brahmgyanis stood there for a few seconds looking and smiling at each other with their hands firmly pressing against each other’s feet. Neither Baba Ji nor Sant Ji wanted to be the first person to let go. In the end as they both stood up straight, they held each others hands and embraced one another.

May Maharaj do his kirpa and bless us with such love for each and every person in this world.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Seva from Akaal Purakh's hands

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

On another occasion Sant Gyani Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale had sent some Singhs to go and deliver justice to a dusht of the panth. As these Singhs were going to do their seva they ran into Baba Ji. At this time Baba Ji was doing seva in the langar hall. When Baba Ji saw the Singhs walking he called out to them. Hearing Baba Ji’s call the Singhs came and exchanged their Fateh with him.

Baba Ji then began to tell the Singhs that they weren’t many sevadaars around to serve langar to the sangat. The Singhs knew Baba Ji was indirectly asking them to help him do this seva.

baba_ji_3.jpg

These Singhs in a collective voice told Baba Ji that they would love to help but Sant Ji had already given them seva to do. When Baba Ji heard this he smiled and did an ardas that the Singhs would be successful. With a smile on his face he then told the Singhs to go.

When Sant Ji found out about what had happened he immediately called these Singhs. Sant Ji then said the following to the Singhs:

‘I am no one; I am a dog, but Baba Ji, he embodies the light of Akaal Purakh himself. I don’t care if you don’t listen to me, but please whatever you do don’t go against what Baba Ji tells you. When a Brahmgyani gives you seva to do it is just like Akaal Purakh blessing you with that seva.’

That same Baba Ji who Sant Ji called the light of Akaal Purakh is today being branded a liar by so many ‘Sikhs’. But such is the world we live in and such is the state of our fallen Panth.

On a side note:

How many times do we ask Maharaj to bless us with seva/simran?

How many of these chances do we take?

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Baba Ji's Bachan

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

With the 3rd barsi of Sant Gyani Baba Thakur Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale coming up next month the enviable questions about Baba Ji’s eternal bachan begin to pop up everywhere from Gurudwaras to Internet forums. I have constantly stated that I have no qualms about people doubting or even insulting Baba Ji’s bachan as that sin belongs to them alone. Usually I don’t bother posting anything relating to Baba Ji’s bachan however a brother of mine has requested a small post about it.

Many Sikhs have probably heard the name of Sant Baba Bir Singh Ji Naurangabad. Baba Ji was a soldier in the Khalsa army under the leadership of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji.

BABA-BIR-SINGH-JI.jpeg

One time in the town of Panj Tara a group of Pathans had insulted some Sikhs and had begun a rebellion. To subdue this insurgency a battalion of the Khalsa army was dispatched. Baba Bir Singh Ji was included in this battalion.

Baba Ji fought with such courage and valour that he was at the head of the army leading the charge. In the heat of the battle Baba Ji became separated from his brothers in arms. The Pathans seeing the great soldier of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj alone decided to surround him and kill him. As Baba Ji was fighting off their constant assaults his sword broke in two. The Singhs who saw what had happened lost all hope for his survival as they were too far to reach him.

As the Pathans began to move in for the kill Baba Ji prayed to Akaal Purakh to save him. As Baba Ji uttered this prayer he vanished into thin air and reappeared behind the Khalsa army to lead the charge once again.

Beloved Khalsa of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj it has happened before and according to the will of Akaal Purakh it will happen again.

Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee on Baba Thakur Singh Jee’s Desire

One day Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale got all the Singh’s together at the Dera and said to them that they needed a Singh for some seva. One Singh got up and said that they wanted to do the seva, Sant Ji said to the Singh that he wouldn’t be able to do the seva, so then Sant Ji chose Baba Thakur Singh Ji to do the seva. When Baba Ji started doing Sant Ji’s seva, Sant Ji didn’t let Baba Ji go to sleep properly, Infact whenever Sant Ji used to send Baba Ji to go and rest, a few minutes after Sant Ji used to send a Singh to go and wake Baba Ji up. Whenever Baba Ji used to come back to Sant Ji, Sant Ji used to say angrily to Baba Ji that “Have you come here to sleep?, that if you have then to go back home.”

After a year of seva, Sant Ji said to Baba Ji that they thought that Baba Ji would run away from this seva, but they didn’t. After this period Baba Ji got a lot of Bakshish from Sant Ji. ne will remember Thakur Singh was telling the truth.

Sant Ji once said that peope come to stay in the Jatha to become a Giani, Ragi etc. But theirs one Singh, one Gurmukh in the Jatha that hasn’t got no pavanah, no icha for anything. The Singh’s asked Sant Ji to tell them who that Singh was, Sant Ji replied that the Singh is Bhai Thakur Singh IchoGill Wale, meaning Baba Thakur Singh Ji Khalsa

Baba Thakur Singh Jee in hospital

Ealing hospital. Baba Ji had been very ill on their visit to England, infact just a couple of days after arriving in England Baba Ji got very ill and had to stay in hospital. It was around 2am in the hospital room and Bhai Gurraj Singh and Bhai Amolak Singh were with Baba Ji doing seva, Baba Ji had not talked to no one while they were in hospital all they did was listen to gurbani 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All of a sudden Baba Ji’s heart beat on the machine suddenly rised and went to the top then all of a sudden it went down fast, Bhai Gurraj Singh told Bhai Amolak Singh to go out of the room and get Baba Ji’s Nephew Bhai Jaswinder Singh Nihang who was outside in another room.

While he went for Baba Ji’s nephew the doctors came rushing in and by that time Baba Ji’s nephew had arrived. In the room were the Three doctors, Bhai Gurraj Singh and Bhai Jaswinder Singh Nihang (Baba Ji’s nephew) and the doctors said to them that they were sorry that Baba Ji is not breathing or responding to anything no more that Baba Ji has passed away. Then the two Singh’s looked at each other in shock, the doctors said that they will leave us alone for a few minutes, soon as the doctors went out, Bhai Jaswinder Singh held Baba Ji’s hand on one side and on the other side Bhai Gurraj Singh held Baba Ji’s hand and Bhai Jaswinder Singh started talking to Baba Ji saying “don’t go” “the singh’s need you” “what will we do without you”.

All of a sudden Baba Ji got up and sat down on the hospital bed and started doing Vaahiguroo Jaap, Then Baba Ji looked forward and Did Namashkaar and said Fateh 5 times, on the third time they said it Bhai Jaswinder Singh and Bhai Gurraj Singh started saying it aswell but they couldn’t see anything to who Baba Ji is saying Fateh to. Then Once Baba Ji said fateh 5 times, they put there left arm around Bhai Jaswinder Singh, and they put there right arm around Bhai Gurraj Singh and tightly grabbed them and said “What ever was going to happen has happened, lets go home, im ok now, call for the car and lets get out of here”, Bhai Jaswinder Singh replyed “Baba Ji will stay for a couple of days just to make sure”, Baba Ji replyed “No I’m ok everything is fine” and then Baba Ji pulled out all the drips and wires from out of them stood up and said again “take me home, see im ok, call for the car and lets get out of here”

Baba Jee helping Singh in jails in Gupt Form

Shaheed Bhai Joginder Singh Harchowalwale, in pathankot jail the C.R.P police had him arrested and locked up there. In the room where he was locked up was a picture of Baba Deep Singh Ji Shaheed. One day he looked up at the picture and he remember Baba Ji and Mehta. While looking up at the picture he did a benti and said “Mahapurkho, Kirpa Karo”. He said that he will probably get shaheed one day, either today or another day, but he is requesting that he stays alive for another year because he wants to do the panth’s seva. After he did his benti all of a sudden Baba Ji’s roop appeared infront of him, Baba Ji was wearing white clothes with a nangi Sri Sahib held in their hand.

Baba Ji said to Joginder Singh that his death is in Guru Sahib’s hands, that whatever Maharaj wants, that will happen. Baba Ji then said to him to get out of their, that the police can’t do anything to him. At this time the police where playing cards outside and there where big flood lights on outside. While Joginder Singh started walking out he got scared, thinking that if the police ask where he is going that he will just tell them that he is going to the toilet.

But while he was walking out, the police didn’t see him and he walked straight past them. He then reached a big wall, he couldn’t jump over the wall because of his body was in such a terrible state after getting tourchared by the police. All of a sudden heavy winds started, and he reached the other side of the wall, it was like someone had thrown him over the wall. At that point outside their where more police officers surrounding the area, but still no one could see him. 4km away from the jail was a pindh that he was familiar with, he went there and borrowed some money and went straight to Mehta.

When he arrived at Mehta, Baba Ji was standing at the gates waiting for him. Baba Ji held his hand and took him to their room and asked how he was and then fed him. After Bhai Joginder Singh finished eating, he told Baba Ji that what had happened. Baba Ji replied to him that it wasn’t them who helped him escape, that it was probably Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji, then Baba Ji said “Satguru Sahib Ji neh laaj rakhee” that it wasn’t them who helped him escape, that it was probably Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji
