For the last few days Jathedar Bhai Surat Singh Ji (Puran Daar ji)'s helath was weak and amritvela was held at their residence in Amritsar instead of the parkarma at Darbar Sahib. Todays amrit vela was at their residence and was attended by a lot gursikhs. As always Daar ji gave piaar to everyone. During the day Daar ji had some symptoms of tempreature and diorrehea.

While being looked after by 2 Gursikhs in his room at aprox 5.30pm (India Time) accoriding Guru's Sahibs Hukam - 'Gurmukh Janam Savaar Dargeh Chaliaa'

Bhai Puran jee was one of the greatest souls on this earth. I personally think he was a great sant!! Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh gave Bhai Surat Singh jee the title "Pooran jee". Its a great loss to the whole panth.

Bhai Sahib was soo chardi kala, they use to start their naam abyiaas and sukhmnai sahib at 11.30pm, around the parkarama of Harmander Sahib!! May Satguroo bless us with more true gurmukhs like pooran jee, its a great loss to the panth.
