Babbar Khalsa threatens strikes on Republic Day

Sirhind/Bassi Pathana, January 20

The Babbar Khalsa has threatened to strike at various places in Punjab on the Republic Day.

The station master Bassi Pathana railway station today received a letter stating that major installations like Bhakra Nangal Dam, railway stations of Anandpur Sahib, Bassi Pathana, Una, Phagwara, Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahr and Phagwara bus stand would be targeted on January 26.

The letter is addressed to GD Sharma, station master, Bassi Pathana, and is written in Hindi. The stamp on the letter reveals it was dispatched on January 16.

The writer of the letter has identified himself as Babbar Khalsa area commander of Punjab and Karachi, Pakistan. The two-page inland letter envelope created panic at Bassi Pathana railway station and security officials were called from nearby police station.

The SSP, Fatehgarh Sahib, said the letter was received in the evening by the station master. “We do not rule out the possibility of the letter being a prank played by anti-social elements. Still, officials have been put on high alert,” said the SSP.

“We have beefed up security at all the railway stations in Fatehgarh Sahib and intensified patrolling in view of January 26,” he said.

He said senior police officials, including the district police heads of other districts, have also been informed who too are looking into the matter.

there is no such thing as babbar khalsa anymore. this is the same thing they were doing back in the 80's. using baba ji's name, and sending threats to everybody. then baba ji found out about this and went on stage and said "if i find out who is sending these letters, i just wanna say, it will not be a good thing for those people who are sending them" and then all of a sudden the letters stopped. lol.

but yea, this is just a scam by panthic dokhi's to ruin the name of some singhs who used to be the real deal back in the day. there is nothing babbar in killing innocent people. its a fake letter.

i dont wanna make this into a nonsence debate about babbar khalsa, but

if bk is still here, why is bajan lal still walking this earth? why is kps still here? why do we have people like inderjit gagga running there mouths about gurbani, and about mahapursh's?

but maybe ur right, there prolly are some people who are capable to get this car rolling again, but maybe they just dont got enough people willing to go along for the ride

Why is this the responsibility of BK Singhs only, your questions should be aimed at the entire Khalsa Panth, Saint AND Soldiers remember?

How is killing/threatening innocents going to get Sikhs anywhere? The letter may well be from government sources for all we know? 2 issues that we need to keep at the fore of our minds:

(1) Dimwitted Sikhs who haven't got the IQ to figure out that their actions are actually detrimental to the panth and its reputation.

(2) Outsiders who do things to drag the Sikh name in the mud.

Terrorism has no future.
