neither did i. i'm 20 but this was only 23 years ago, and its the first i've heard of it. most sikhs i know say the sgpc has been around since independence in the akhal takht.

The gursikhs at he time decided to do seva of the gurdvara sahib therefore sgpc was dissassembled.
