Can A Sikh Marry A Non Sikh In The Gurdwara

can someone please post up some bani that states that sikhs should not marry non sikhs and that a non sikh should not be able to marry a sikh in the gurdwara

No not in the ceremony of Anand Karajh as has been discussed before on the forum,in order for a bride and groom to marry in Anand Karajh both have to have full faith in the 10 Gurus their utterings,and Guru Granth Sahib - they should accept Guru Granth Sahib to be the universal truth and accept no other diety or faith apart from Sikhism,only than can the Anand Karajh be carried out.

If say the guys Sikh the girl is Christian they can always get a court marriage ,or the girls could accept what is said above and they can have an Anand Karajh , if as some Gurdwareh in the UK do break the above rule they are commiting beadbi of Guru mahraj and the ceremony of Anand Karajh, its like a Muslim getting married in a Mandir when he does not believe in Idols why is he marrying in a Mandir.

If one partner is not a Sikh then why should one want to marry in Guru Ghar? A Sikh marriage as per Gurbani results in 'two bodies one soul (belief)'.

However, as all are welcome in Guru Ghar I think most Gurudwaras will allow such a marriage to be solemnized in Guru Ghar.

I think the Sikh partner needs to introspect....... Laawan..... actualy after listening to the Hukam we take a laaw around Guruji signifying that we are 'Balihaaar' (a sacrifice) of our Guru's Hukam. Will the non Sikh partner have this feeling?

Akhal Takht issued a hukhamnama stating what sarpanch has said above..
