Is there a comprehensive Punjabi-English dictionary in print that you would recommend? I've seen several but most appear to be aimed at people who need a pronunciation guide in English for each entry, and as such they are very thick books but have a limited Punjabi vocabulary.

I remember seeing one in my cousins cupboard when I was in Punjab last year... In Punjab you will find plenty nice ones, not sure about UK.

we have a thick punjabi dictionary at sri guru singh sabha library which opens sunday 11-1:30. If youre local, pop in and get one i think we only have 2-3 left. otherwise i will be putting quite a few books on ebay for sale, ill let you know when its on there

there should be a document on there you can download. you should be able to download it using the 2nd link. was u able o do this? its basically a pretty complete dictionary/vocab.

Not yet, Veer Ji. I think I'm going to have to get someone who runs this version of linux to help me figure out how the hell to run .rar files.
