Sikh By Choice- The Book

waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!

i've had a bit of inspiration... i've heard so many great stories of how people came into sikhi... and i've just read Bhai Rama Singh ji's autobiography, which is filled with such inspirational stories...

anyway, i'd like to compile a book filled with the stories of young sikhs. i'll handle the seva of printing and publishing. we can distribute it for free at gurdwaras and via the internet.

submissions should be primarily in english. please include your name, age and where you live. of course if you want to remain gupt that's ok too.

i'd also love to publish photographs or artwork that you feel depict the theme, "Sikh by Choice".

i welcome any and all suggestions!

Hey Phenjee - hope your doing well.

I am not of punjabi origin and neither was I born into sikhi - you got it - Im a gora haha. I first discovered sikhi when I was about baram < is that right spelling? haha. So its been around 5 years now and although I havent fully joined the path fully - due to age, family and various other excuses I shouldn't have etc. I was wondering whether I could be of any assitance with this great project?

My story of keeping kesh is easily the most inspiring. But I fear that if I post my present pics, people might start gathering outside my house calling me sant jee or baba jee. Who knows sister jasleen k might become a chella of the prophet of doom......

All the occupations are suffering from economic recession (except the baba business). Infact economic crisis means greater tension and dukh for humanity which means more people will go to "babas".

Jasleen Kaur was the one who tauned me as "prophet of doom" in October. Just 4 months later, whatever I wrote is coming true(because I am a real true sant). The only way Jasleen kaur bhainn can be forgiven for slandering a saint like me is if she prepares a separate website with my life story and photos.
