Is there a way where no EU/UK sangat can watch it? Any web streaming???And any plans to extend it to North America/India/Australia/NZ????

Web streaming coming very soon. At the moment, you cant get it on TV in the Americas, or Australia but if the channel recieves worldwide support then i wouldnt rule out extending it accross the globe. These are still VERY early days.

The channel so far is doing a very good job, i liked gyani satnam singhs katha and the kirtan that gets played, hopefully soon more stuff will be hosted on the servers and newer kirtan etc will be played,

Could the channel try and get all of shromani ragi bhai balbir singhs kirtan - totally amasing raag kirtan - the best, and

ADVERTISE AND SUPPORT THE CHAUPAI SAHIB JAAP AND 1984 Events

:) Khalistan_Zindabaad jee, we definitely take what you say into account and its been great having your presence in the studio from time to time.

The Chaupai Sahib project will be advertised very soon once we have created the trailer for it. We are getting more support everyday so we will be up to full speed quite quick we imagine.

The keertan - yes we will definitely feature a wide range of keertani including Bhai Balbir Singh. Please do keep the suggestions coming in because we are going by the feedback we get and the posts that are posted on this forum.

Not sure if it has been suggested before but I think we should have a news slot, maybe about 7.00 pm or at 8.00 pm, need not be too long in the beginning maybe 5 or 10 minutes long where we have news relevant to the Sikhs but also other news that can be explained to the Sikhs , this could also include important dates and Gurpurbs coming up etc.

i think the channel are planning to do news time aswell, which would be great, but the sangat has to appreciate that alot of stuff gets monitored and censored hence im not sure how much into depth the news will go, as the channel cannot blatently say . . .

Badal is a joker who controlls akaal takht, the jathedaars listen to everything that badal ses and cannot go against him, the apparent panthic maryada is a complete joke and we have lots and lots of dodgy parcharaks that dont even follow the basic principles of sikhi and go around causing problems everywhere.

However im sure they will cover events and incidents that take place, its up to the sangat to provide the channel with the correct accounts of the news and what really happened instead of the biased and censored indian media.

Thank SIKH CHannel your doing a great job so faaarrr . . . C u soon.

It would be good if the channel, can organise discussion groups, around Sikh issues, both in the UK and abroad.

This could be with 2 to 3 Sikh professional and an audience discussion. issues like:

Sikhs and Legal or Legislation in the UK, to prevent discrmination against them.

What 'rights ' do Sikhs have.

Freedom of Religion vs freedom of Expression

Sikhs and human Rights both within India and outside (i.e. France, banning Turban)

Just some food for thought.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
