Sikhi Shop- Why?

I would just like to ask Sikhi Shop/the sangat whether they think it's right that there ripping of The Shastar Man's shastars ( the dhumala shastars ,spike kareye and other styles,chands etc)and just to make profit with cheap versions which won't do good in any jung or even for show....Or just take his website pictures and posting them implying they sell the item but when you receive the order they are a totally different style to the picture...

i say this because the dhumala shastars i had bought from the shop were not the ones pictured...

the ad chand picture was of The Shastar Man and i was very excited to buy that certain chand but to my disappointment another item being sold under a false picture..=(

A few other things to keep in mind whiles buying from Sikhi Shop:

-Weak metal used

-Not very good welds

-Items sometimes are different in real life than the pictures on the site

-Finsh is very poor

-Copied fake designs of The Shastar Man

-Shipping cost £7

-Rip Of prices ( 3foot bolt kirpan £80 while in India is like 800rs =£10 max )

So Sangat ji please make sure what your getting yourself into while buying from Sikhi Shop

and remember don't waste your money! that money could go to a homeless person rather than a money/profit seeking Gursikh

why would you even buy a kirpan with a massive bolt coming out from the handle? just save your money and buy something puratan instead of new rubbish

Dear Sangat Ji,

We are not sure why this post has be put on here without even contacting us.

So far we have been accused of theft and being rip off merchants.

We have not ripped anything off Theshasterman. We ask our suppliers in Amritsar for items and they send them. We do not send images, we only say we would like items say "Chain Chakar" and they find them and send them. It the same for any shop, they go to their suppliers to request certain items.

If the items we sell and not up to standard tell us....no one has contacted us saying anything about the quality of the products we sell. If there are any problems then we have no issue with offering refunds for any items that you do not want. We can then report it to our suppliers.

With regards to the Kirpan, if anyone can get the same Kirpan for £10 veer Ji then we will buy off you....the item is a hand made reinforced sarbloh kirpan. We will have a word with our suppliers and see if we can reduce the price...again something we hoped you would come to us about this.

Any shipping price we put covers the cost of posting and the cost of packing. You would of seen the cost of postage on the envelope. If you think we over charged you then tell us.....we listing! The max we charge is £8.25, the break down on this is £7.91 goes on courier and 0.34p goes on packing. We have looked for cheaper reliable service and we have tried cheaper ones that sometimes collect and sometimes the items goes missing. We no use Parcelforce and Royalmail.

We will give you a simple example of how we work out costing.Adult Bana cost 16.00 - Supplier charge £9 , Cost of shipping is £1.50 from india approx (this is the average worked out per item from the total shipping were charged) Tax to bring it into the UK is £1.10 (this is the average worked out per item from the total shipping were charged). Now take away the 10% for daswand. We are left £2.80 profit, with Karra we make .5p - 15p profit. This goes back into the business to get more product....if we are so money grabbing we would be like all the others that charge 200% sometimes more for items. We all work full time jobs so we can run this shop.

In the past 2 and bit years since we be running we have had promotions on everything, huge discounts on products and shipping....most the time this means we lose money.....but we do it anyway....why not we supplying to our brother and sisters.

We are not chor and nor have we ever been...we do sell cheap shaster, we sell cheap kirpans but we have only one type kirpan that is expensive than most.

We do not see why you would say that about us. We never ripped anyone off, and we also give items away for free.

We neither want Status of any type, wealth or profit has never been our goal from the start of this shop. Lust for what?

Maybe were not perfect, but we are trying to be good sikhs.

Maybe a chour wont admit being a chour, but a Gursikh would not lie and we have not lied! But if that is what you think about us then so be it.

Would you give Maharaj guru Gobind Singh ji the same shastar you sell for profit?

2nd yes you have copied stuff of The Shastar Man - chand's , dhumala shastars

apperntly you had bought them from The Shastar Man and went to india to make cheap copies

if you jus told the suppliers in india to make them for you why have you got very poorly made and weak 1's? if its the same people yet you charge more? hmmmmmmmmmmm FIX UP

What poor shaster are we selling? Why would we not give a kirpan that we think is beautiful to the Maharaj Guru Gobind Singh ji and Even Maharaj Guru Granth Shaib Ji.

We are not sure of where you are getting you information from but we have never purchased anything from theshasterman. We know the owner and did have a good relationship so we thought with them. It is sikhs like you that make these accusations and have proof to back them up. We are willing to go in front of Maharaj Guru Granth Shaib Ji and say that we have never purchased or ask anyone to purchase anythingh from theshasterman, if we lie Maharaj will be our judge.

We have never asked anyone to purchase anything from theshasterman, we can supply e-mails where we have recommend theshasterman, chardikalla.com and other sikh shops if we can not help the customer. We have that proof!

Please tell us when we purchased the dumalla shater from theshasterman? We were selling dumalla shaster before theshasterman was created!

Pleas tell us when we went to india or when we have ever sent anything to india?

Last time we went to india was in December 2007 at that time we went in search for a new supplier. We found these when we came back to UK.

We do not know why you have a grudge against us, but if you would like to meet and discuss this we are willing to talk to you Gursikh to Gursikh and brother or sister to brother or sister.

If you have any criticism over our products please contact us, we will take that and speak to our suppliers. The fact we have a comment section on our products and forum should show you we value the input of the sangt and our customers.
