Fateh!

Greying of hair is hereditary like male pattern baldness, so all your friend can do is retard its progress.

Washing his beard daily in a strong tea made of rosemary and/or sage may help. This may also make his beard grow in a little quicker. He can also try the desi treatment for the condition which is to massage amla oil into the hair roots.

Have him take a good multivitamin with minerals like copper (for melanin) in them, and tell him to eat more protein in his diet.

Anxiety can also cause premature greying, so tell him not to sweat the little things unless he wants to look like Bhai Gandalf Singh by the time he's 25.
