Jalandhar , July 26 Akal Takht Jathedar Gurbachan Singh today appealed to Sikhs all over the world to work for the environment and focus specially on

cleaning natural water resources. Addressing a function held at Sultanpur Lodhi on the anniversary of the project to clean the holy rivulet Kali Bein the Jathedar of the highest temporal seat of Sikhs, said members of the community should do their bit in improving the environment rather than constructing big Gurudwaras."The community should focus more on cleaning and maintaining natural water resources rather than building new big Gurudwaras,"he said emphasising that to care for the environment is the moral and religious duty of everyone.
