Sikh Channel - Biggest Fraud Going!

regarding the financing issue:

Sorry it has to be said Sikh Channel team are retarded in their approach and focus!!!

called them so many times to give them strategy! they dont listen the formula is so easy that it is astounding that they haven't figured it out yet!!!!!!!

1 instead of focusing on Sangats donations focus on procuring 5% of donations made at all UK Gurdwareh

2 make appeal to Sangat to get them to take action at their local Gurdwara in convincing the committee to donate 5% of charavah (donations made to Gurdwareh)

3 instead of displaying Sangats names they should display the names of Gurdwareh that refuse to cooperate

if anyone doubts this strategy well let me remind you the big Gurdwareh like B'ham and S'hall make like 60-80 thousand a month in donations just from the golakh. there are 200+ Gurwareh in UK alone. every year Sangat in the UK donates a collective 20million+ in golakhs.

Come on guys! Be thankful there is a Sikh channel. People are so critical about everything; i know the obvious question from people would be “it’s my money they are using”. I just think give whatever help you can, and let the staff members do their job.

Also the initial topic starter please stop talking figures, i work for the HMRC and let me just say don’t have a dam clue about the overheads!

Also another issue that was raised was, quality programming. Somehow i just feel you don’t even watch Sikh channel, i infact I’m very happy with the service and so are 2 of my Sikh colleagues and some friends.

I personally been in touch with Sikh channel and given them full support, for organisational effectiveness. I think it’s costing them very less ONLY £50,000, there are other sources of funds which are very limited. Also for some clarification nothing can be strictly charity.

Lolll and btw it’s not the biggest fraud, it’s probably the smallest 1 i've seen(if any) working for hmrc...lolll

Have any of you tried to run a channel? NO! So i don't think any of you can really say anything, the people running the channel are doing great seva its a shame people just sit behind there computer screens and criticize others hard work.

Sikh channel would not be making a big deal out of it if they had money, everyone will be moaning once they shut the channel down, but i guess it will be too late.

Hope enough gursikhs will be able to contribute and the sikh channel keeps running with mahraajs kirpa!

I personally think the Sikh Channel will end up going on subscription even when their MONEY needs are met.

A lot of family have already given so much money to show their support but when you advertise in the manner the channel have been doing it’s disgusting and you start to wonder. How much more money can sangat give, you never see Muslim or Hindu channels making demands in this method.

It’s a shame the only sikh cannel we have is run by money hungry individuals.
