look hes handsome theres no doubt but he was also in a film that I think most of sangat would have seen seeing as it was alot to do the sikhs, hennce the 'we all know why' comment- I thought it would get misconstrued which is why took it off. I also think hes the best actor, he beats shah rukh kahn and hrithick roshan by a mile, hes really talented but the thread topic didnt say to give reasons why. I'll never understand why people are so soon to jump to the worst possible conclusions about people.

That's enough to settle my dispute. I'll give you a reason if you want one though....

You've got to be joking. You asked me if it was kaam and I told you no, I told you hes not what id look for in a husband, therefore I dont fancy him and it is not kaam!! Please if you want to defame someones character please find someone else to pick on.

My best friends are handsome, doesn't mean i fancy or want to marry them, I would never even let myself fancy someone who is unavailable or that I wasn't looking to marry- its called self control, wayward minds lead to unhonourable conclusions.

It's hurtful and sickening how the second someone makes a truthful comment ones words are nitpicked and completely misconstrued.

I also think aishwarya rai is an amazing actress and think she is incredibly attractive, but if a guy said that I bet you'd jump on it and twist it.

I don't blame you though, its how the world thinks.

oh and before you jump on it by charming I mean increadibly gentlemanly and polite, my mum thinks that aswell but if you want to diss her feel free, shes happily married.

I asked if it was an 'opninion' or 'kaam'......you answered now, not then. So now your telling me that you would look for 'kaam' in a husband?? Everything just adds on.....no point kidding yourself.

This is the truth you say? so none of your other posts are true? If you can back up all your opinions, then who are you afraid of?

I also think aishwarya rai is an amazing actress and think she is incredibly attractive, but if a guy said that I bet you'd jump on it and twist it.

Now thats a lie, you still trying to back your origanal comment with more lies. This is what you think.

I don't blame you though, its how the world thinks.

Interesting. Now you don't balme me........anyway, if there was anything I said which offended you or anyone, then by all means I am sorry. But I still stand by my words against the 'panj doot'.

happy posting...

Okay now I'm really offended, , lol

You're twisting my words again.

By saying he isn't what id look for in a husband I was letting you know I didn't fancy him and there is no lust involved- I really thought my comment was self explanatory but apparently it wasn't! ;)

I honestly thought you got what I was trying to say, im so sorry I didnt reply with-

'No it was not kaam, it was an opinion.'

Next time I will make it much clearer- but yes I am telling the absolute truth and do not appreciate being branded a liar. I'm a sikh, I tell the truth. :|

At the same time I'm sorry if you misunderstood what I was trying to say.

The problem with a forum is that unless you state something more than clearly people dont tend to always get your point.

Secondly- with the aishwarya Rai comment I was trying to get you to see my situation from a guys point of view- and was simply stating that if you jumped to conclusions about what I said I bet you would about a situation like that aswell-

it's not such outrageous assumption to make seeing the conclusion you made about me, but I am sorry for making this assumption, I dont want to get in an argument.

Thirdly, most of the world is inclined to think in a less than civilised way, as a sikh I do my best to fight against the panj dhoots with everything I have- I was just suprised and frankly hurt that you would think so lowly of me.

You need to stop and think objectively before you jump to such hateful and damaging conclusions so quickly, you are too headstrong, if you love sikhi and your sikh brothers and sisters you should not be so quick to slander, you should be quicker to love.

Maybe next time you'll think twice before wrongfully accusing a sikh sister of lust, feel abit more shame and have a bit more respect.

Lastly as a woman who is currently engaged, these accusations have hurt me even more, I feel slandered and yes defamed. I have eyes only for my future husband and anyone who tries to make me believe I am a victim of kaam is not going to be held in my best regards. mellow.gif

No to worry jee. We get misquoted, mis-interpretted all the time. Its ok, let it go. As long as you are clear in your thoughts, intentions, there is nothing to worry. Apne aap nu gussa nahi aouN deNa. Listen to some shabad you like. Here is one I could suggest. BTW the below shabad has nothing to do with current topic. Just picked one shabad on random.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
