DO NOT DRIVE IF YOU ARE TIRED.

if someone can sit with you and talk to you to keep you awake, then thats fine, otherwise PLEASE avoid driving at all when tired. The consequences of falling asleep while driving are fatal.

After a rainsabai is it possible to sleep over at a frends house nearby to where the Gurudwara program is?

i dunno its not good to be drving on the highway especially when your sleepy, and its easier to fall asleep when you are in a peaceful mind state as in right after a keertan,

or get married and shift to where all the programs are at then in the future itl be convenient to take the whole family hehehe

Will share what i learned from a friend (Truckers son).

He said whenever you feel sleepy on a long drive just park your vehicle and get a few hours sleep.

Better safe than sorry !

So pull down your car seat and take a nap.

Have a quick power nap before leaving. If you MUST drive, then do Ardas before setting off, take some firends with you in the car and tell them not to fall asleep! keep a bottle of water with you and some sweet / high energy food like chocolate etc. The sugar will help you stay awake for a bit and the water as well. You can spray water onto your face if you feel the need. Also, keep the heater off, switch on fresh air and put down your window once in a while - the blast of cold air will help. Have some Red Bull or similar if you drink that stuff.

Stopping at the services and walking aroung / stretching your legs will help wake you up as well.

If you're not up to it, don't risk it.

have some sleep before the programmes in advance have some tea/coffee unless your on no caffeine rehat then you need a designated driver, dont drive tired your endangering not only yourself and your passengers but all road users even kids, old people pedistrians. Get another means of travel train, bus or stay over in someones house for rest then drive back if its too much then cut back the length of time your spending in those programmes leave early or get there late after rest and leave late. Don't risk your life and others lifes.
