As we're on topic, can any of the docs here clarify the situation with holiday vaccines? I did some reading on the net, it seems there are animals/ eggs involved in their production. Are there actually any alternatives? Generally in regards to the standard set of vaccinations we all have to get for going to Panjab. Thanks

You let yourself, be a slave to the law, made by man. But you don't become a slave to God. They force you to take vaccines, and you happily except, they force you to take kirpans off, and you do that aswell, like there are no consequences. Look how wordly, people have become. Guru ji says we reap what we sow. So that means all diseases originate from within our minds. We attract them and bring it upon ourselves. We are suppose to be spiritual beings, but we walk like animals, thinking, there is a 50/50 chance you can get ill. But all diseases come from ourselves. So why would you want to get a vaccine from protection, when you know by practising good, it will keep you safe? Because thats how worldy we are, clinging to maya, when God is the source of everything. We go external, but everything we need is internal. Humans have been given great healing powers, but we are just blind to them, because it shows how bad we actually are. Im not saying im any different, just most of us, our state of minds, is just like anyother person. Who thinks everything is external and blames the world. When the person to blame is yourself. So many times gurbani talks about how naam, cures all diseases and makes you fearless. So if we are not those things, then we are just doing something wrong. We are all doctors, with the power to cure someone with just a touch, but we are just blind. It is kalyug, but does it feel like it to anybody? Probably not, some people just haven't got a clue whats going on.

i mean doctors will tell you stuff, like you can't regrow limbs, or regrow cartilage, and almost the whole world thinks that. Thats the mindset people are in, they have set these limits on themselves, become slaves. Truth is, that you can regrow limbs and cartiliage, it all comes from the mind. I mean most of the world thinks hair is useless, so they cut it, are you going to trust these same people. You will attract your thoughts, put your thoughts on god and anything can happen. Dont take the vaccine, dont become a slave to the world. The fact we are slaves to the world just shows how weak we are. stop talking about swine flu, like it some serious issue, its nothing.

i think the proper advice to give someone, is if you are scared of something, do an extra chaupai sahib, or something like that, we all know the things to do. Bani helps us not just here, but also after death. How is a stupid vaccine going to do that? Whats better for your child, sikhi? or an injection? Don't underestimate the power of Gurbani, thats all we need. If your worried about something, go to God, don't go to losers. Doctors wouldn't even help you, if they didn't get paid money. Look at all Guru Har Krishan did, he didn't do it for money. Everything we need lies in Waheguru.

Gentlemen, what is a swine flu jab/vaccine ?

a vaccine is disinfected sample, mostly dead or semi-dead virus of the very same virus that you are looking to avoid.

So looking in that sense, if you do not contract swine flu through nature, you would surely contract swine flu through the jab. Now once the virus enters your blood stream, it shall remain there forever and you will be a carrier for that particular flu even if you do not get completely overwhelmed by it.

Depending on the nature of the flu, your body shall have to constantly fight this toxic viral already injected into your body on a daily/weekly/monthly basis thereby compromising your positive immune system.

Secondly if it is proven that this swine-flu is indeed a designer flu, it shall react differently to various 'natural viral flu' and give a different response.

So please do not flow with the glib talk of aye-sayers on this forum and avoid this jab in any ways possible.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
