Why is it always Singhs being killed? Kirpans and guns must be for more then just show. How many Sikh Gunmen/bodyguards were with the sikh leaders during the protesters? If Sikh gunmen were present and 5/6 singhs have been killed with no enemy in return then those guns need to be taken off them and given to people who have the knackers to use them, when needed.

Its a shame he didnt catch him, he deserves to have his head removed. If possible lets get the names of the police/officials involved and make them public. There may/may not (probably not) be an enquiry into the murders, and we need the names to put pressure on the police and government. If we dont apply pressure then police will feel that they can get away with killing sikhs and no consequences. It is our duty to try all avenues, including using the courts as well as dealing with our own hands.

Does anyone also know whether the aushutosh gathering actually happened as well or not? Also what collaboration was there with the nakli ashutosh and the police? Was he involved in getting the police to fire? Who gave the orders etc? Let think ahead about the info we will need before those that know get picked up off the streets and dissapear.

in sant jarnail singhs time, sant ji wud have made sure that all the real singhs wud have got to knw the names of te police officerrs who made the singhs shaheed so that they wud have been dealt with by kharkoos. make the names public those officersneed to be killed.

Benti, it would be good to contact our MPs and also the Prime Minister about the events in Punjab. With Guru Sahib's Kirpaa the Sangat have organized protests outside the Indian Embassies in London and Birmingham. But further to that UK MPs need to put pressure on the Indian High Commissioner to ensure that Sikhs in Punjab and particularly Ludhiana are safe and that justice is brought to the victims of Police brutality.

I am emailing you in regards to the concerning events that recently took place in Ludhiana in Punjab (India).

Members of the UK Sikh community, including myself, have family members living in the area and are horrified at the police brutality used against the Sikh protestors shown in the News reports. A number of protestors died after police without warning fired bullets at the protestors and then charged at the protestors, beating unarmed people and injured them seriously.

I would like you to take up this issue with the Indian High Commissioner in the UK immediately and ensure that justice is brought for the victims of the Police brutality and that the Human Rights (which includes the right to protest) of the Sikhs will be protected.
