Giani jee has just stated what baba thakur singh jee said to the singhs a long time ago and also what other mahapurhs have stated previously regarding pothia and gurbani and the time approaching, mahapurkhs in india were saying similar things 1 year ago when asked, however they dont give a time period and rarely ever speak to anyone. Giani jee is just saying what he was told.

Has giani jee in this katha stated exactly what Baba Thakur Singh Ji and other mahapurkhs have said about the times to come. Some people are saying that bani is going to be hard to find. What else has been mentioned in this katha please? Thanks

All mahapurkhs who are jaani jaan will say the same thing, especially regarding what Giani Jee mentioned in his katha. Baba Thakur Singh Jee was a Pooran Bhramgiani so all their bachans will come true (some already have).

We are living on borrowed time, all this was meant to have happened a while back.

Here are some signs http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8008473.stm

giani ji didnt name any mahapurh's except Manikarnwale mahapursh.

but a quick summary of the katha is that this whole global warming thing is actually a serious issues. ice caps are melting. the shifting of the poles will throw off all electrical things. means cell phones, labtops, ipods, tv's, radio, none of them will work. no gas for cars, no food to eat. money will have no value. people wont even be able to get food in exchange for gold, thats how bad it will be. the thing about not having any pothi's is becasue everything is pretty much gonna ge obliterated. some say that maharaj's saroops will become gupt. only the bani u have memorized is the one you'll be able to do.

Just look at it from demand and supply perspective.
I am sorry but I severely disagree with treating Sikhi like a commodity that is to be sold. Sikhi is a diamond that is to be discovered, and actually its a gift from Gurujee. Please don't even think of it as a commodity that we need to sell. We need "quality" Sikhs, not mere "quantity".

In my opinion, let's focus on what is happening now and where we are in our growth spiritually. How much Bani do we read a day/an hour/ a minute, a second, a breath, how much do with actually consciously do our task, how much do we actually practice Gurbani, how much or how long do we keep God in the mind.

We say we believe in Guru Sahib, but how much do we know what Guru Sahib teaches us. If you just say I believe in Guru Sahib then all your doing is following yourself. Your Guru is the mind, not Guru Sahib.

You have people always saying Sikhi is so logical and common sense. What they are truly saying is we don't read Gurbani anymore(read one two angs and now we know everything) and follow the logic, which the mind present us with. In other words they have become manmukh.

What runs through their mind is, why read Gurbani, the same shabad over and over, I already got what it is saying, it's simple. The Khalsa never stops, the Khalsa never stops after the second third, hundredth, million, billion reading, the Khalsa keeps reading for eternity. The more you read the more you will understand and the more love you will have for God. There is no end to the Shabad Guru.

The first time i read Japji Sahib i understand nothing the second time I understand nothing the million time I still understand nothing. There is no end to God and people want to stop after reading one Japji Sahib. Waheguru simran should want to come out of your mouth non stop. The love for God has no end the love to chant his name has no end. There is no end.

The day you say I understand is the day you have died and God is a million miles away from you.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
