Sikh Channel will not support 1984 related programming or they will try to avoid it as much as possible anyway. According the owner only 50% of Sikhs in the country feel that Sant Jee was in the right, the others feel he was wrong therefore, he does not want to harm the sentiments of 50% of Sikhs. So dont expect much 1984 content on Sikh Channel any time soon. There was a Sarbat 2009 programme commemorating the events of November 1984 and they refused to advertise the event due to its "controversial" nature.

To all those who say "Contact Sikh Channel direct rather than posting on forum" : Dass and other sevadars have tried and tried again to contact Sikh Channel but they never reply to e-mails, they refuse to discuss things over the phone and when you arrange meetings face to face, the main guy does not show up at the last minute due to "urgent meetings at CTS" and instead gets one of his workers to meet you who just tell you at the end that they dont really have any power or say and that you should speak to the owner of the channel.

Funny that aint it, the 1984 rally 2009 one, was jam packed, 100s of coaches came all over the UK, to London... all of them supported Sant Ji, with Sant Jis Naherh, and Khalistani Nareh, and Jakereh... so i believe thats more than 50%. and the "exuse" he makes up, "doesn't want to harm the other 50% who are anti-sant ji", most of us don't support dasam granth, he still broadcasted the event... didnt that effect the other sangat who don't support dasam granth???... its just exuses...

How can anyone be pro Sant Ji and against Sri Dasam Granth? confused lot. Anyway, like I said before, it comes down to money. They didn't broadcast the event for free.

Surely thats the best reason for having Sant ji's speeches, so that the sangat can hear the truth of what he said and judge accordingly. If we ourselves act as if those great Gursikhs were criminals or terrorists how can we get the international community to think otherwise.

It would be interesting to know where Sikh Channel got these statistics from?? If we don't show the sangat Sant Ji's speeches they gona stick to there narrow minded thinking and never know what sant ji said. Sant ji spoke the truth and as we all know the truth hurts everyone. It is not that "50% of sikhs thought sant ji was wrong" its that they dont want to hear the truth!!
