Instead of posting on here the sangat need you to air your views live. otherwise the allocated time could go to waste and Punjabi sikhs will carry on thinking Sant ji is a Millitant

PLease step up... for the sangat

missed it !!

anyone know who was on it or hosting it?

Have to say wasn't impressed with the boli of some of the pane ? is this the educated youth of today.. heard the word bulls**** twice and bandhars !!! no matter how emotional we are we can't express ourselves like that.. we talk about sant ji living gurbani.. but fikha bolnaa is totally against sikhi..

naanak fikai boliai than man fikaa hoe ||

O Nanak, speaking insipid words, the body and mind become insipid.

I think the real message is that the sikhs need to make professional documentaries.. and get them shown on the big channels... even if cost's money.. we're not short of it !!!

Yeh, bhai sahib knows his stuff and has alot of knowledge on 1984, hopefully the channel will use them again in the future, but instead of taking 100 calls, maaybe they can actually give him time to speak, because when he did speak, it made sense and he had accounts, book etc to back everything up....

the channel said they will be doing the real sikh story, lets hope it isnt made last min.com like todays show was, and they contact the right people like bhai sahib to help out and point in the correct direction.

It was good - the paji with a yellow ramaal really knew his stuff and was articulate too.

I did not watch the program, but I have also noticed on many Punjabi programs of what you are talking about.

On so many “Talk shows” run by Punjabis , they do not let the speaker who is trying to explain something talk, but they immediately go to receiving the calls. And the callers often waste time in veering off topic . This trend is very common in Punjabi programs. ((It seems like they think taking calls is first priority than letting the invited guest explain about the topic.. Perhaps they are more interested in trying to make their programs “more popular” by taking calls than presenting the contents properly))

Even though this was clearly a quickly produced programme the guest speakers made many excellent points.

Paji with the yellow ramaal had excellent knowledge and presented himself very professionally. It's a subject which gets many people worked up and frustrated. But if you have done your research your words can been inspirational.

If anybody has this programme taped, please put it online. Also, was the little advert after the programme indicating that the Sikh Channel will be making a 1984 programme?

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, Vaheguru ji fateh

Sangat ji, This programme was excellent and so straight to the point in was unreal. I agree it was a little aggressive, but i saw so much passion and alot of honest talk which was so refreshing as we all know politics controls what we say and think....even on our own sikh channel!!! I posted about about 13 clips on SANT Ji and all 13 of them were refused??? strange??

The guy in the black bandana was suprisingly quite blunt and to the point in a very commical and rude way....lol... the sarcasm was so noticable and was maybe not needed but in a topic like this where SANT JI has been exploited i think this was necessary and on this occasion it was justified.

The guy in the yellow bandana was very good, you could tell he read alot of books on 84, would be great to see how his sikhi progresse??

The singh in the black damala was very passionate and you could see the piyar for sant ji flowing...we need singh's like this

One thing i noticed in the show was that when ever the non amritari panel spoke, they were allowed to continue...when mr singh spoke he was allways cut off? was this a ploy from the sikh channel? if so, i think it was quite smart because its great to see non amritari sikhs speak about the respect for SANT JI and it looks non biased.

The presenter was a little strange though, always interupting and cutting people off,.they ruin shows like this, however its very common on the sikh channel.

Some major points to take away were.... punjab is a silent graveyard..very well said!!!

why were 35 other gudwara's bombed on the same day?

Why were the army wearing gas masks as sombody pointed out before a call came in? This suggested chemicals were used on sikhs

Why did it require so much force for SANT JI?

Why did the documentory start with sant ji and a gun??

If the programme was a personal journey why expose it on tv to the whole world?

Hindu Generals mentioning the army planned to attack 18 months before?

No balanced research on SANT JI..his amazing spiritual side...his connection with Gurbani?

sonia lied in the preview to the show??

Interviewed a 18 old kid but then interviewed genearl bra and mr tully?...completley biased!!!

The build up to 84!

These were all mentioned by the panel and they should have stook on these topics and really exposed the

documentory and the indian government rather than bbeing cut off all the time and taking calls.

In summary excellent programme, great mix of panel members...keep it going and stay proud of SANT JI

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki fateh!

Mohan Singh

From this topic and others, one thing is clear... we need to EDUCATE - but before we educate others, we need to become educated ourselves.

Please see the names of a number of books and publications that EVERY SINGLE person who has posted on this topic needs to read - it might take some time, but we need to arm ourselves with knowledge, because this has become our biggest failing.

Lets not counteract with opinions, lets do it with FACTS - if anyone would like more info, or is looking to do some research on the events on 84 - or has a databank of factsl, please PM me - it would be useful to have either an online/offline library of information.

When or will the Sikh Channel be repeating the discussion show about the biased documentary as many English people, non-Sikhs and non-practising Sikhs want to see it because it was in English and put across some good points to counter attack the false information spread by the BBC???
