EVERYONE MUST POLITELY REQUEST THE SIKH CHANNEL TO REPEAT 1984 BBC DOCUMENTRY DISCUSSION SHOW AND PRODUCE A NEW 1984 DOCUMENTRY

Please vote in the above three polls that will be forwarded to the MANAGEMENT of the SIKH CHANNEL.

When (or will) the Sikh Channel be repeating the discussion show about the biased BBC documentry (Broadcast on BBC1 at 10.55pm on Sunday 10 January 2010 called "The Sikh Story: 1984") as many English people, non-Sikhs and non-practising Sikhs want to see the youth discussion show that followed on Monday 11 January 2010 because it was in English and put across some good points to counter attack the false information spread by the BBC documentry???

Everyone should email and phone the Sikh Channel and tell them to advertise & promote, then put on the repeat of the discussion show so EVERYONE can watch it. If everyone is aware in advance and it is well advertised to come on at a prime time, then texts etc can also be sent around to English freinds who watched it (such as people at work who have now got a twisted view of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale).

The Sikh Channel should do this quickly now and then in the near future they must also produce a NEW unbiased documentry in English similar to the BBC one but telling the SIKH story and not the views of the Indian Government. They must promote and advertise that broadcast to be aired at a prime time very well as well so that everyone is aware in advance (especially the non-practising Sikhs and English people).

The Sikh Channel also need to play speeches or katha of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and other mahapursh's of the past as well as present. They need to openly promote Dasam Granth Sahib Ji and get rid of their internal forces that tried to make them do anti Panthic things in the past.

Apart from that, Sikh Channel are doing a good job and need to keep improving their PANTHIC stance, to not listen to modern day scholars and missionarys who haven't a clue what they on about, but at the PURAATAN ways and views propogated by Sants of the past and present!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa!

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

I'm in favour of all! Everyone please post a comment approving your decision (Just write "I Support")

We need to get off our back sides and make this happen!

This topic and the voting poll will be brought to the attention of the Sikh Channel management, but we must email them as well to show them what the MAJORITY of Sikhs and the Sikh youth want and what their views are. The Sikh Channel will listen if this is done. We must not allow anti panthic views, forces and people to get their presence in the channel.

We have hundreds of followers on here, whom which not all may be pro Sant Ji, but everyone lets answer this for the mis guided youth who need to know truth about 1984, and lets get an unbiased one.

This is great poll, lets also get petition and put them together, because seems petition alone hasn't worked for Sikh Channel.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
