Help - Weather In Punjab

Anyone know what the weather in Punjab is like in March... what sort of temp does it reach and how uncomfortable does it get?

March is pretty good. Its cool and just about warm not hot. It starts to boil only in may. Then if electricity is out and you dont have generator then you need to sleep in kachera.lol

yeah as apna said, not too hot in march (but global warmin and all that you never know lol )

At the moment we are experiencing the coldest winter after about 20 years .Average temperature is also changing on a daily basis .But it is still not as cold as European and American standards.Just 2 days back maximum temperature was 19 degree centigrade and today it dipped to 15 degree centi .However the minimum temperature is ranging between 4 and 6 degrees centi.Today it was 5 deg centi.

Yes March is relatively warmer but since winters are severe this year cant say how March will be but I personally feel it will be neither too cold nor hot if you are planning to visit here.

apnepart2 and sonearyetsofar have also described March well .It is usually said "Aaye basant paalaaa udant " .

March is not that bad,

But come April and winter lovers like me start getting sad!

But you are coming from to India so some precautions you must take,

Keep an eye on your water and food intake.

Drink lots of bottled water and say no to salads, curds or you can say any food that's uncooked,

Or with a 'Delhi belly' or something worse you could be 'booked'.

Do not succumb to your relatives when 'khaan de liye karran force'!

Would not be a bad idea that when you go back you take an antibiotics course.

Do not forget to visit Darbaar Sahib and Fatehgarh Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib during your stay,

Pay your respects to Sahibzadas who sacrificed their lives at an age when kids gleefully play.
