SATGURU is SANT and SATGURU KI SANGAT is Sant.

Let us do Satguru DI SEVA ,SANGAT di seva ,SANGAT de charan dhona,

na ke kise dere or institution de sikh . But we must RESPECT ALL THE sikhs ,

Gursikhs and institutions who are spreading the message of GURU GRANTH SAHEB JI

ratherwe must encourage such Institutions and Gursikhs by tano mano dhano.

Please let us not stick to any version or mis conception and if some GURMAT based

things come across our way, we should amend our version and that will improve

our life style and this IS the only way of SIKHI da PARCHAAR that we implement

the things first upon ourselves and than we need not to tell others.

BHUL CHUK KHIMA

Hello K.SIngh Deep Ji,

Please donot be Katarwadi(Sharia-Wadi). Without Sant(Puran and Gurmukh), Gurbani's Real Menaing cannot be understood. Even Sant Singh Ji Maskeen said in one of his Katha that Even though He had learnt the meanings of the SGGS from various sources but He was not able to get that Real Taste(Amrit Ras) which is stated in Anand Sahib(Anand Bheya Meri Maye, Satguru me Paeya). That means Even though He was one of important Katha Vachak in Sikh History and Title of SANT was given but still He was not Puran Sant.

WHen baby is born, Parents teach him/her about the sorroundings, Enviornment,. Bad and Good, Education, Knowledge. He/She is not born with all that knowledge. SImilarly, We cannot understand SGGSji simply by reading daily and not following its path(Lack of Meaning Knowledge.

Even Bhagat Prahlad Realized God only because he recieved Gur Mantar and Methodology of Naam Jap from NARAD(Sant). Papan Ganika realized god when Sant gave her Parrot. Bhagat Ravidas ji Realized God when he recieved blessing from Guru Ramanand ji. Bhagat Trilochan is Realized God when He got Sangat of Bhagat Kabir Ji.

Please read Bhagat Mala, Then You'll realize that without Proper Sant, Guru, Mahapurash, God cannot be realized. They Know the God's Path, they have those eyes to see. THey make the path easy to realize.

Sikhs learn NAAM JAP from PUNJ PEYARE during AMRIT SANCHAR and

Nam ,Gurmantar,Deekheya and Rehat is taught by Punj Pyare in the

presence of GURU GRANTH SAHEB JI. No body SINGLY is authorised

by GURU GOBIND SINGH JI for NAAM DAN,giving GURMANTAR and

methodology of NAAM JAP and no body should dare to do so like

NARAD ji /Swami Ramanand ji or BHAGAT RAVIDAS JI or BHAGAT KABIR JI

At present time only PANJ PYARE ARE are authorised to do so after

PIOUS HUKAM of Guru Gobind Singh ji on 1699 VISAKHI.

People who do not understand the reality and stick to SANT and

MAHAPURAKH like adjectives are actualy encouraging the GURU DOKHIS

(in unknowing way) to use such words with their name too and in this

process we are facing BHANYAREWALA, GURMITA (RAM RAHIM) NOORMEHALIYA

etc.

GURU PYARYO , GURU EK HAI DHAN SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI.

SANT PUNJ hein (Punj pyare oh vee GURU ki hazoori vich, MAHAPURAKH

vee EK hi hai te oho hai AKAAL PURAKH:-

" Eh Baani Mahapurakh ki nij ghar vasa hoe."

I am neither alergic nor hateful from any word or explanation but any thing against the

teachings of GURBAANI wich have been taught to me by GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI during

sehaj paathhs in last 27 years are undigestable to me for which Iam sorry.

Now Iwill not submit any reply on this topic.

BHUL CHUK KHIMA.

cuz in gurbani, and guru granth sahib ji, the same 2 panktis never repeat.

Shastr you are completely mistaken in your statement above. With the replies which have been posted it shows that very few people on this forum have even completed a sehj paath, since no-one has picked up this very simple point

In gurbani at numerous places you get mool mantar from Ik Onkar to Gurparshad repeated with no changes at all.

I would urge you all to read Gurbani instead of debating if Sri Chand quoted a salok in Sukhmani Sahib or not, since the answer to the debate is not going to change anything. If you believe he did good for you, if you believe he did not good for you too.

Please Read Twarikh Khalsa and Gur Pratap Suraj Granth

Sikh History reinforces the idea that Baba Sri Chand Ji Maharaj and the Sikh Gurus enjoyed a deeply loving and intimate relationship.Baba Sri Chand Ji arranged the marriage of his nephew Baba Dharam Chand Ji. Guru Amardass Ji offered his son Bhai Mohan to Baba Sri Chand Ji.Guru Ramdass Ji came to visit Baba Sri Chand Ji and on Baba Ji’s suggestion changed the name of the holy town Ramdaspur or Ramdassar to Sri Amritsar or as known today Sri Harimandir Sahib Ji.The Gur Partap Sooraj Parkash and Guru Twarikh Khalsa also give mention of Baba Sri Chand’s visit to Sri Amritsar.Baba Sri Chand Ji was seated and honoured on a high place. In Twarikh Guru kHalsa . Gian Singh Ji writesâ€Guru Ramdass Ji offered 1 horse and 500 Rupees unto Baba Sri Chand Ji and Baba Ji was very pleased at this offering.Baba Sri Chand Ji asked Guru Ramdass Ji “ Why have thou such a long beard?â€.To which Guru Ramdass Ji answered: “ To wipe the feet of holy people like yourself†And Guru Ramdass Ji wiped Baba Sri Chand Ji’s feet with his beard.

An annual offering of 500 rupees and a horse was offered to baba Sri Chand Ji Maharaj everyyear by the household of the Sikh Gurus.

Guru Arjan Dev Ji visited Baba Sri Chand Ji at Barath (dist Gurdaspur) and recited his composed 16 Ashtpadis. Baba Sri Chand Ji was very pleased and requested Guru Arjan Dev Ji to utter 24 Ashtpadis to which Guru Ji agreed.Guru Arjan Dev Ji requested Baba Sri Chand Ji to add to the Sukhmani Sahib prayer.Baba Sri Chand Ji uttered the 17th Salok of Sri Sukhmani Sahib following his fathr Guru Nanak Dev Ji ; “Aaad Saach Jugaad Saach Hai Bhi Sach Nanak Hosee Bhi Sachâ€.

Guru Arjan Dev Ji also gathered some pothis from Baba Sri Chand Ji for preparing the AAd Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji or the First Recension of Sahib Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj.

The Sixth Guru of the Sikhs, Sahib Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji together with his sons went to pay homage to Baba Sri Chand Ji Maharaj.Baba Sri Chand Ji requested Guru Harobind Sahib Ji to give him his son Baba Gurditta Ji to which Guru Ji agreed.

Baba sri Chand Ji remarked that the radiant face of Baba Gurditta Ji was not too dissimilar to that of his father Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Baba Sri Chand ji gave his Udhasi dress to Baba Gurditta Ji and appointed Baba Gurditta JI as his successor and also uttered “Baba Gurditta Din Duniya da Tikkaâ€.

If Baba sri Chand Ji had wanted, he could have kept the throne of the Udhasis to his follower , By doing so Baba Sri Chand JI erased all marks of favouritism and combined the idea of a householder and ascetic in one as per the teachings of Sahib Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj.Baba Sri CHand Ji emphasised also that adopting a householder living was not the sole purpose of Human Birth. The year 1994 marked the 500th Birth Anniversary of Baba Sri Chand Ji and was celebrated with much vigour all over the world.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
