could someone with a flickr account please email this person and ask them politely if they could take down these photographs please?

rather than coming here and trying to cause controversy, why couldnt you have just made your own account and messaged them yourself if it bothered you that much? although, i really dont see what the issue is here..he's just a child. its hardly offensive is it.

its all well and good saying its not a problem, or its not offensive. but when a young sikh lad places a peice of kapra in his dumalla (not a farla, just a peice of seperate kapra), it looks like a farla, and then he gets beaten to a pulp by 5 so called "singhs". This baalak is wearing a farla, which he souldnt be. yes it could be just to make a cute picture, or a completely honest mistake, but it is not right. Maryada is Maryada, it doesnt change per person.

Satpunga Veer Jeo, its comments like these that turn young people away from sikhi, please remember that. Do you actually think there are people out there who would beat the kid 'to pulp' just because he innocently posed with farla (and a fake sword) for a picture?? Honestly, some of you guys never cease to amaze me! no.gif

unfortunately this is true. a group of 5 "singhs" beat a 17 year old boy for wearing a fake farla.

if you would kindly look into the search history of this forum, im SURE you will come to the story which i am indicating at....

you guys need to relax,

and the comment that someone left under the photo is debatable,

who says that this 'kid' might not be engrossed in naam simran 24/7. Maybe he is or not and surely you can't just go and leave a comment saying that he can't be capable of being engrossed in naam when your not 100% sure. end of the day let the boy have a little fun trying out bana.
