Gender selection is illegal is most countries including the UK. Companies who offer this 'service' across the world are profiting from the confusion which has arisen due to parents not knowing where it is strictly legal or illegal. In the majority of cases it is illegal, dangerous and unregulated.

According to Sikhi choosing the gender of your baby is against all our fundamental principles. Let Guru Sahib decide the gender of your child and be happy with it. Try to explain this to someone if they are putting pressure on you and stand your ground.
