Baba Buddhadal ji,

Could you please xpalin me this tuk from SGGSji,

Mere Ram, Har jan ke hau bal jai.... Kesa ka kar chavar dholvan charan door mukh lai.

I think you forget to see why Guru Nanank dev ji was Called Vada Mastana.

Dear gur sikh

from my limited understanding of gurbani, i think that most of the gurbani uses metaphors.

And this shabad seems to use metaphors to describe the bhagats of waheguru, and how much respect should be paid to them.

Hair is very important is sikhi and is respected by tying a dastar and combing it twice daily.

so when guru jee says that they would fan over somebody with their hair, is an example of outmost humility.

gurbani is very deep and cannot be understood by just scratching the surface.

if what i have said is completely wrong then please forgive me

i have no knowledge

fateh

Wearing Dastar is Tan(Body) di Rehat Maryada of Dasam Pitaji. But when you listen to Gurbani with complete understanding and Concentration, You do get Masti(Inner Joy for Short Intervals), at that time Your Mind doesnot know about your Bodily Affairs.

For few , This Joy(Masti) is for Very SHort Interval, for Some it is temporary, for some it is permanent(Sad,Sant,Mahapursh).
