Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

I have a question about Ardas, after you have finished it (Nanak naam chardi kalaa teri banee sarbatt dha bhalla) what do you do after? Matha Tek, Jaikara etc.

Answers would be appreciated.

in most cases, if its at the gurdwara, they read ardaas up to nanak naam chardi kala, then say waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh, then do matha tek, and stand back up for dohra, then at end of dohra, there is jaikara, and then fateh again, and finally another matha tek. after that, in most cases there is hukamnama

long ardaas is when you go through the whole thing, like its written in sudar gutke or pothis. short ardaas some people do, but im not suggesting you do this, is that after 11 guru sahibs names, some peole dont even say the panj piyare wali pauri, or jina singha singhneea wali pauri. they skip everything after 11 guru sahibs names and go straight to the ending, the last pauri where it says nimaniya de maan, nitaniya, nitohtiya di oht.....

the short ardaas is the one people do before sleeping, but if you plan on skiping some parts, dont skip the panj piyare wali pauri or the jina singha singhneea wali pauri, thats a key part in ardaas. shaheed singhs gave their life, and if we cant even say their name in ardaas, wats the point of ardaas?
