Banda Singh Bahadur achieved some great things for the Khalsa Panth. We should remember him for these achievements rather than focusing on the flaws. Like everyone else, he was also human and by no means perfect.

At the end of the day he was martyred for Sikhi and that is how we should remember him. His heroic exploits set the course for the eventual establishment of the Sikh Raj under Maharaja Ranjit Singh (who also was not a perfect Sikh, but who Sikhs also hold in high esteem).

rubbish! <_<

Such  grandmother stories  have been around for ages. When it comes to evidence, they will say we have sharda in what so and so said

Guru Sahib Himself chose Baba ji by first blessing him with Gursikhi. He already had Bhagti from his previous life, Gurmat Naaam blessed by satguroo perfected is life's goal. He was a Brahmgiani!

Sikhs having knowledge of sikh history know that baba banda singh Bahadar had deviated from sikh principles to some extent. He ahd introduced " Fateh Darshan" instead of Waheguru ji khalsa , waheguru ji ki fateh.

Because of such acts Tat khalsa parted with him.

That is hard truth. people need to read history before writing fairy tales punctuated with nonsensical words.

BANDAI,

BANDAI, name given to the followers of the Sikh hero, Banda Singh Bahadur (1670-1716), who regarded him not only as a military leader but also as Guru next to Guru Gobind Singh in spiritual succession. They were opposed and ultimately expelled in 1721 by the mainstream of the Sikhs, the Tatt Khalsa. A small number of Bandai Sikhs still survive. They reverence the Guru Granfh Sahib as their Scripture and most of them also undergo the Khalsa initiatory rites, but Banda Singh Bahadur is for them their eleventh Guru against the common Sikh belief of the spiritual line having ended with Guru Gobind Singh, the Tenth Master.

Which sources state that Banda himself created Bandai Khalsa distinct from mainstream Khalsa? Did the 700 Sikhs who died with him at Delhi after capture declared Banda as their 11th Guru ?

Banda used 'Fateh darshan' and he became outright outcaste? Nanaksar Samprada doesnt have Nishan sahibs what are your views about them? What about Taksal Maryada and AKJ Maryada and SGPC Maryada? which is right as they are not same? Atleast three of these four groups seem to have deviated from Gurmat?

I respect Banda singh Bahadar for his martyrdom.

I respect your wisdom but this is like I AM GOD ! You think you can pass judgement Banda Bahadur?
