Cant wait or the event, we are lucky that Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranvales Grandson Sant Avtaar Singh Jee Badni Kalaa Valeh are in UK, we should try to make the most out of their sangat as within the panth, sampardas especially they are regarded very very highly and known to possess imence gyaan and have a very high jeevan.

From the Rosary to the Sword

This year marks the 404th anniversary of Shaheedi in Sikhi since the Sikh patron-shaheed Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jee.

Just as Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee had been at the time of Baabar, and in the footsteps of succeeding Sikh Gurus, Guru Arjan Dev Ji was also a revolutionary. The Gurus had brought about hope for freedom of the people.

Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jee started the martyrdom tradition in Sikhi. His supreme sacrifice of peacefully obtaining Shaheedi whilst undergoing inhumane tortures, laid the immovable foundation station for the future generations of Shaheeds.

From 1606 to the present day and more recently the Shaheeds of 1978 – 1995 - pyareh such as Shaheed Bhai Fauja Singh, Bhai Surinder Singh Sodhi, Baba Thara Singh, Shaheed Bibi Upkaar Kaur, Gyani Mohar Singh jee and countless others have spilt their blood for us to hold our heads high as Sikhs.

Lest we forget, more recently four brothers have laid their lives down whilst protesting against anti-Sikh cults, Parnaam to Shaheeds Bhai Darshan Singh Jee Lohara, Bhai Kanwaljeet Singh Jee, Bhai Harmander Singh Jee & Bhai Balkar Singh Jee.

The ardas Sant Gyani Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale did in July 1982 still stands today and the Morcha is still ongoing until the demands are fulfilled.

May Guruji give us the strength to part take in the morcha and keep the loving memory of our shaheeds alive. We have an opportunity to pay our respects to our Shaheeds of the panth at this event. So a benti in your charan please spread the word and get friends and family to partake in the seva.
