Dal Khalsa alongside other Panthic organisations fully support Babbu Mann and reinforce the fact that Lala Lajpat Rai was infact a deeply Anti Sikh man,no Sikh should ever call this fool who died of a heart attack a Shaheed.

We ask all to support Babbu Mann and spread this message that he gave to audiences at his Wembley Concert in the UK

Warrant issued from Mohali Panjab

DHUDIKE (MOGA): After exposing so-called religious Babas for their lavish lifestyle, popular Punjabi singer-actor Babbu Mann has strummed a controversy by putting a question mark over the martyrdom of legendary freedom fighter Lal Lajpat Rai, better known as "Punjab kesri". A song by Mann during a recent concert in UK about Rai not dying due to cane blows rained on him while opposing the Simon Commission, but due to a heart attack, has stirred a storm back home.

Furious over this, activists of a youth club at Rai's birth place has demanded stern action against the singer.

"Apart from being an insult to the freedom fighter's martyrdom, it has put a big question mark over the whole freedom movement and sacrifices of all freedom fighters," said Lala Lajpat Rai youth and welfare club president Jasdeep Singh.

The Lala Lajpat Rai committee, residents of his village and other club members have demanded that the singer should be booked for anti-national activities.

Though Mann was not available for comments as he's still abroad, his close associates Tarlochan Singh and Harjit Nagra maintained that had never meant to denigrate any patriot's sacrifice, and rather eulogized the freedom fighters through his songs. "Mann has not scripted the lines, but has picked up a reference from "Sachi Sakhi", a book by Kapoor Singh (ICS). There is mention of Rai on pages 63-64 in the book's 1993 edition published by SGPC and a foreword by late Gurcharan Singh Tohra. If anybody's feelings have been hurt, he is sorry," they added.

Acting on a complaint by the villagers, Moga SSP Sanehdeep Sharma said he had asked SP (H) Jagmohan Singh to look into the matter, and take appropriate action after getting legal opinion.

I am sorry but I think this whole issue is pointless. Till today the Hindus have refused to see the sacrifices of Sikhs and today we are doing the same. You don't have to be a Sikh, Muslim, Hindu or of any dharam to do the right thing. Lets not call anyones sacrifice invalid and show them disrespect. Even if he had died of a Heart attack, he still played an important role and inspired so many, respect him for that.

Sikhs aren't suppose to do Ninda, so just stop.

End of story.
