To: British Government

26 Years on, when over 20,000 Sikhs were massacred on the street of India's national Capital, New Delhi. We as citizens of United Kingdom stand hurt and dismayed at how the English and Scottish teams can be allowed to participate in the Commonwealth games in a city where thousands of innocent people were killed and those responsible have still not been brought to Justice.

Furthermore, the last time the Asian games where held in India in 1982, Sikhs were categorically banned from entering the city of New Delhi, simply to stop Sikhs from democratically voicing their concerns to the world about how they are being mistreated in India and to stop the world from knowing about the Human rights abuses being carried out by the Indian Establishment.

We call on the British Government to official withdraw all National teams from the Commonwealth games and refuse to support any such International event from being awarded to India until it changes its attitude in Human Rights and protects the minority communities within India.

Sincerely,

Fateh

Its a bit late to start a petition? I mean, we had 7yrs... To petition less then 10days wont achieve anything.

You will be better of doing ardaas to maharaj india are not able to repair the problems with the village and then most countries will pull out anyway - Watch the news, UK and Scotland give more concern to their athletes residence then to the state or political affairs of the country.

Do KLF Or any other Sikh organisation really need to do this? The image of India and its organisers and their capability to organise such events is now exposed to the world. The false story of "India Shining" is already Exposed. Lots of Athelets have already boycotted; there are still 9 days left to start and 15 days of games. I can tell from my IT experience that no Testing has been done on this infrastructure, the infrsatructure is delivered at 11th hour.

What if the diving Spring Board cracks when a diver jumps on it; as it might be of a low quality? What if the Bathrooms start leaking in Games Village? There are lots of such instances which are gonna happen - Infrastructure is not tested - so NO need for us to create any noise - their corruption / Thief character is being exposed to the world by their own media - Let it happen :).

Just Remember - We have not forgotten 1984, but it is just us - People around the globe (especially Hindus) don't care too much about it, they just enjoy hearing our massacre of 1984 ... But raising such slogans will just tarnish our image the same way Islam/Muslim image has become across the globe.

Bhul Chuk Maaf.
