You need to understand that Dasam granth compositions are in narrative form.

It is ignorance to post a few lines out of context for propaganda sake and present a misleading picture.

The lines you have posted from chandi charitra are from altered version of durga saptsri. Unlike

the original text which gives prominence God like status to Durga, Guru sahib states

that God is supreme and Durga is creation of God.

What is wrong in that?

Moreover Guru sahib has used extensive metaphors in Dasam Granth. Chandika is not always Durga.Chandika is also used as metaphor for akal purakh.

In other words Chandi is not personified in Dasam gRanth sahib. Do not live in illusionary world.

Whole Dasam Granth tells us to believe in one Lord that is akal purakh. So what is wrong with it.

i have given page numbers unlike in the quote given earlier by someone else so please look up. both the above excerpts show brahmanical influences and teachings therefore trying to assimilate sikhism into hinduism which is wrong. guru nanake dev ji preached against the life of a sage which the above is promoting. the guru granth sahib ji also celebrates the beauty of waheguru rather than people. the 1st excerpt talks about the god chandrika. we dont believe in these gods as we have ek oankar so how can you resign the 2? it also describes the Lord as brahma and talks about brahma's existence. brahma has nothing to do with sikhism-it is hindu mythology.

Could it be due to your limited knowledge on Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji Maharaj that you misintrepret what sage is really meant there. Do you know the backround of that story where sage is mentioned. You don't present any evidence about the shabads, but here you are calling yourself a scholar and giving out intrepretations.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj celelbrates the Saints life. Guru Sahib tells us to do seva for the Saints, to listen to their advice and take their company.

The term Chandrika scares you? Do you know in Gurbani Brahma is used to describe the Lord. IS this refering to the Brahma in the form of Brahma? NO! it's refering to Sri Waheguru ji in the form as creator. It's describing an attribute of the Sri Waheguru ji.

Sikhi does not believe in Bhrahma, but throught out Gurbani it's used along with Indra, shiva, Vishnu, lakshmi, etc. Understand the context of the Shabad and don't be disgusted by the name.
