As a teenager guy, I am a huge user of Facebook as are many people my age.

What I see on there on a daily basis, is just hugely wrong and disgusting. I see our sisters uploading pictures where they are drinking alcohol and are dressed half-naked. I see our brothers trying to chat up anything they can get.

Is this where we are going? Our youth have lost all connection with their Sikh roots and nothing is being done about it. This state is currently the worst it has been ever... so what should we do?

Understand that our brothers and sisters is all of humanity not just punjabi sikh community this is occuring due to media and its corruption. A Sikh by strictest of definition is amritdhari anyone born into a Sikh family is supposed to take amrit and such conduct is wrong and would make them tankhian ex-communicated. Most people from Sikh background and not Sikh background do not know anything about Sikhism pretty much all they see is we are people who wear turbans. We have to respect other peoples freedom but all you can do is to practice your own Sikhi do all you paath, ishnaan, naam sewa and do lots of Sikh parcharak teach everyone about Sikhism, go put leaflets in Gurdwaras even the elders sitting in Gurdwara do not know much about Sikhism alot of them were forced into there religion as kids and the same can not be done in this country, they were beaten as kids. Put free leaflets in Gurdwaras do all you can share stories about Sikhism with all of these guys learn from them the moral and sikhi stories they have there is alot of peer pressure for these things. These guys also want to learn about Sikhism everyone really does, but the language gap is harsh.
