Such a shame to see the website promoting bhang and chatka. I thought Tarna Dal were supposed to be the good guys. Oh well.

Oh yeah... Shame to see another narrow minded loser around the forum.

difference slightly in rehat..

theres six dals in total, so when the time for jang comes each jathedar can make formations of each dal in different ways and the jathedars can then work together to have a big strategy on the battlefield.

Its easier to command six smaller armies with six generals rather than 1 gen and 1 big army.

Wasnt harianbela jatha made during Akali Baba Chet Singh jis time? Under Baba Harbhajan Singh as its first jathedar if my memory serves me correct. 

Baba Bakala wale are the main Taruna dal/misl shaheeda from Baba Deep Singh jis lineage

i mean tarna dal moreso is closer to Taksal in terms of jhatka and degh 

pretty sure its optional

Baba Avtar Singh sursinghvale, Baba Nihal Singh (the Harianbela dera/hq as well not too sure though) dont chhak jhatka

Neither did Baba Kirtan Singh ji, Baba Daya Singh jee, not sure about Baba Gajjan Singh jee but I dont think they do and neither do pretty much all of the Sri Hazur Sahib sewadaars like Baba Kulwant Singh ji, Bhai Ram Singh Dhupia, Baba Jyotinder Singh or the older ones Baba Joginder Singh Moniji and neither do any of these straight up oppose jhatka however 

I really dont get the big deal about it, you do you do, if you dont then dont

Agree. I just couldn't resist the irony contrasted between the guest's name and their content. Lol.

its beyond cringe how people are creating divides

like just recently brahmgiani Baba Deep Singh ji Amar Shaheeda da janam dihara just passed and ive seen people on social media argue on misl shaheeda tarna dal vs. damdami taksal and whos mukhi they were and gradually it evolved into doubting the origins of each others sampardae/jathebandi

Yeah. He belongs to Sat Guru. First and foremost. And of all Jathas Taksal and the Dals should be loving each other the most.

Isn't Panth Akali Guru Nanak Dal under MahaAkal Baba Maan Singh Ji originally from Budha Dal? I'm pretty sure they don't fall under the Tarna Dal umbrella.  

 

Edit: Guru Nanak Dal is indeed under Tarna Dal.
