Manwinder Singh Giaspur, the man that exposed the mass killings and mass graves of Sikhs in a Haryana village has been told by his employers ( a Hindu owned garment exporting company in haryana) that he is no longer required. The company's name is 'V&S International Pvt Ltd', 301 Udyog Vihar Phase 2, Gurgayon, Haryana, India, 122 016. This is what I propose we all do : Write to every US and UK based import company that buys from that company. Tell them, in your letters that your next step will be to write to each and every major retailer that those importers supply. I'll set you off with the first example : Their last big shipment left Mumbhai destined for New York / Newark on March 3rd.

The American customer on that day was a company called 'Pine Cone Hill' 125 Pecks Road, Pittsfiels, MA, 01201, USA. They are a 'massive', supposedly ethical,company. Their own mission statement on their own website states ; "Our Commitment to Responsible Practice

Put them to the test. See when and if they'd ever buy from that Haryana based company again if the cost is negative publicity in the USA. Pine Cone Hill is itself part of the huge 'Annie Selke' company who command a massive share of the US bedding market. Write to them. This is just one example of one western company that buys from Manvinder Singh's former employers. It won't be too hard for you all to find the others. It also won't be too hard for you all to find details of western based companies that buy from many many other Indian companies that have sikh blood on their hands.

For years and years us UK, USA and Canadian sikhs have been nothing but hot air. We talk a good fight but the truth is we have been able to do precious little for our brethren back home. But this, is what we were born to do. This, will have a bigger effect than an AK47. Do as i say and watch how, within weeks, V&S International pvt ltd doesn't beg at the feet of our Sikh brother to 'come back'. They have Indian versions of how 'company reports' or directors reports. Just like here in the UK though, one needs to pay for the information.

The thing is, do you remember when the Indian roads and transport minister, who also happens to be a mass killer, came tyo London last year for a series of conferances. Despite numerous protests his talks were only called off when the western companies that were due to share a stage with him (companies such as 'kellogs' and 'coca cola') were emabarssed into withdrawing from the conferances. They did so not because of some ideaological fundamental belief in human rights...but because of the threat of negative publicity. Nothing scares a western company more than being seen with, and seen doing business with, people with bad human rights. Things like that rub off. On that particular occassion even the deluxe London hotel kamal nath was staying in threw him out because of the bad publicity.

The moral of the story is this : We've learn't, over the past 25-30 years that Indians generally have no shame. If anything they are actually proud of killing sikhs and other minorities. Its a total waste of time even trying to get to the conscience of a people that clearly have no conscience. Our target should be the western business that do business with such people. That is the way to get to the conscience of the Indians because that will hurt their wallets....and wallets and purses are where the consciences of Indians reside.

Some well-written, coherent emails to the right places could do the trick. Like you said, publicity is the key and most western companies don't like getting bad P.R.

Also, in this particular instance, they can't slander the guy and say he was a bad employee or anything like that. The boss of the company has gone on record (in the original Hindustan Times article) as saying he was management material. So it seems the excuse about 'cutbacks' simply won't wash. Its too much of a coincidence.

Anyone on the receiving end will read that and say 'What's the problem?'. It's just an extraneous statement which isn't needed. Just keep the flow going from the first sentence.

Also, re-phrase the following a bit better:

I know it's true but (the last bit in bold) smacks of a little kid telling on his older brothers for beating him up. Goreh don't like that kind of stuff, and it makes us look like wimps. Let's be a bit more cleverer than that.

Something like this is a bit more suitable (in my opinion):

The Indian Government has instigated various insidious policies against the Sikh population in order to silence those who have been attempting to obtain justice for the horrors, that were meted out on Sikhs during the 1980s and 1990s.

The Government of India has attempted on countless occasions to cover-up the crimes of those involved at any cost. They are at pains to ensure that those responsible are never brought to justice - even if it means resorting to defaming innocent parties and in some cases, concocting fabricated stories against the aggrieved in order to prevent sympathy for the Sikh cause and prevent the course of justice reaching it's natural conclusion. You must remain vigilant and not fall prey to these devious tactics.

It's a shame a Sikh Firm, or any Firm that like people who believe in justice and truth, don't head hunt this Singh!

I know that the above is not really the answer in that a tribunal case should be brought forward and this Sikh should be reinstated. However, if the indian government won't even prosecut a single person for the thousands and thousands of Sikh Children, women and men that were burnt alive and murdered in 84, and since, then we can't expect anything from them here.
