The same happened when a group of 100+ Sikhs visited the park a couple of years ago as a day trip during a Gurmat Camp. We were told that no one with a Kirpan would be allowed in, this was surprising as we had been visiting for many years and had faced no previous problems. We were then told that this was happening as recently someone carrying a kirpan had been approached and was now going through legal channels. It was decided by the camp organisers that as we were there and money had already been paid, all people carrying Kirpans were asked to conceal them during the visit and the day was spent there without any hassles. I dont know if any if the group refused to conceal etc. As mentioned, this happened a few years ago, summer 2007.

That singh whoever he is needs to be pesh in front of some singhs and apologise in my opinion and get a punishment

This is because we have agreed to keep it concealed and we broke the promise

That's my opinion

I am really suprised at your comments. For a Singh who has such a beautiful Khalsa Roop, tall dumalla, bana and Kirpan over the top, your comments are worrying. Why should the Singh go Pesh???? He has not done anything wrong! What promise are you on about??? We adhere to one promise, and that is to follow the Rehat given by Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.

Tie gatra around ur keski so that your kirpan is still on you.

Why can't people just wear kirpans under their clothes when going to places where people will stare and complain. A pretty simple solution if you ask me

Thorpe Park asked a group of singh's to leave after another vistor complained about a visible kirpan, singh's have been escorted out of costco and tescos for wearing visible kirpans. Often it's due to complaints from othern shoppers rather than establishment themselves.

bhaji they need to just put it under there tops or where a jacket i go costco and tescos but no one sees my kirpan :)

I do agree it does accidentally get exposed and the singhs were harshly treated though

They should know of the 5 ks and that Sikhs have never used it for violence

We were invited to settle here by Winston Churchill and were given permission to wear it

I'm always careful not to expose but if this happened I would say it's unfair treatment and talks must happen

And whoever agreed the necklace should be exposed
