Sukhdev Singh Ji you have posted the same message about 5 times which we have had to delete, please don't just copy the same post again and again.

I thought they were all slightly different?

As for this hall, you are claiming this hall is to pay for the Gurdwara, really if you are encouraging activites such as drinking, meat eating, dirty music and partying, whats the point of preserving the Gurdwara anyway if you are turning people away from Maharaj?

Are you moderating or taking sides?

Dirty music ?

Are you being a Sikh or taking sides? Take the side of your Guru for once.

Let me ask you one question. What do you think Guru Nanak Dev Ji would say about this? Be honest. Do you ever see him saying yes go ahead and have a party with meat and alcohol? Its as simple as that.

I'll give you some help, have a look at the sakhi of malik bhago.

3) Is the income generated from the hall honest , when the hall is hosting alcohol and meat parties?

I ask you pasta chef, are the donations made to the Gurdwara earned honestly?

Many donations come from people who sell alcohol and tobacco or divert tax money etc

Your logic would imply we must screen all donations!

Your question is totally invalid because the context are different. People can donate 1 million pounds but Guru ji will not accept. This has been shown by our Gurus with countless examples (bhai lallo sakhi). What you are saying is that It is perfectly acceptable to use Guru Ghar and the donations to start up dishonest business, business which actually goes against the teachings of sikhi.

The funny thing is that in most situations the Guru ghars don't even need the extra income.

I do to my Gurdwara's Sangat not some internet Sikh's calling themselves "UK Sangat"and how can you be a legitimate sangat without a Gurdwara!.

That has to be the most stupidest comment ever, majority of the people who post here belong to a gurdwara. As for can someone from another town be classed as sangat of your gurdwara or not well, Guru Arjan Dev ji actually did seva of sangat who was visiting from kabul. So by your definition they werent sangat because they were not local.

I understand, you hate parties ,music and do not like subsidiarity.

It is valid because when we go and donate is being accepted tacitly, I suggest you run those Gurdwara's to which you belong ,oh sorry they won,t let you !

Oi! Maderia Cake. Enough of your Baqwas! How dare you disprect Guru Mahraj's Hukam. People like you have you shame or fear. Just remember this, we All have to answer to him when our time comes. Some sooner rather than later.

I do Ardas for you and the others that are blinded by this, that Guru Maharaj show you the correct way. It's still not to late.

Moderators, Benti in your Charan, please stop any further ratlling posts of this nature. Please let us focus on the reason why we will be protesting Peacefully on the day.

Bull Chuk Maaf.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
