I'm guessing the quotation is in the beginning of the book when Macauliffe is talking about India before the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji? Or could it be the final volume? There's so much to digest I've forgot!

Could we get up and sing the praises of Bhagwan Krishan or Sri Ram Chandra? The fact that he has praised Guru Gobind Singh Ji should be applauded. He has my respect.

I will not vote for him nor i will become fan of him but i do give him a good credit for speaking such positiveness of our guru sahiban..

True that Sikhs are not in habit desperately seeking some sort of acceptance from other religious figures but we need to learn how and when to give credit to some when its due.
