Dudleysingh, stop exagerrating

hope all those that could, watched the youth programme on the Sikh Channel as it clarified a lot of points about the happenings of yesterday.

i saw the gattering and the protest taking place, so its what i saww, no exagerrating.. Sikh channel is promoting these protest and by defult promoting violance

Is that what modern day 21st centurary sikhi is about......

well done, to all those people who attended, and embarresed the community.

i've seen the video, and theres not many local faces there either

trust me i will know all the locals.

You know what Dudley. Insisting on the cessation of sharab and kebabing on Gurdwara property is not unreasonable.

the method is unresonable,

this site make out that meat and boozing takes pace in the actual gurdwara...and that is not the case,

I dont agree with the violance that took place,

i dont see how any person in the right mind can agree with it or accept it.

Dont worry , visit your pind every week , west london. , i'll be there again this week... there the same down there...inbreeding etc....

so were are you lot when it come to standing up and supporting the comunity, like when the EDL visited twice last year, causing damage to gurdwar ' s and mandirs....

bet your all at Glassy junction....

and you may want to leave your village and see the city lights once in a while

Dudley flop squad, actually a handful of the Singhs that went to the protest were the very same Singhs that went down to ensure that there was no case of mistaken identity when the E, E, EEEEEEDL were marching through.

If you were there yourself instead of being an internet warrior you would know that there was also one of the main members of the EDL close on call to speak to any of the other EDL members if they still came round.

Ask your local committee about it, they might actually speak the truth for once.

Even when the bins were placed outside the other Gurdwara in Dudley and set alight, it was these Singhs that went down, so don't be giving it ten man large Dudley Flop Squad! Get out more an get clued up about whats happening in your own backyard! :smile2:

Just typical, so if anyone had an opinion of what took place in their 'back yard' its slandering the sikh sangat.

yes i do have singh in my name, just like you.

well hope that you are proud.

a single act of violance is one act too many , dosent matter that an hour of simran took place. but YOU CANT SAY VIOLANCE is acceptable behavior.

if you find that hard to read .... so be it.

yes do think it was Militant behavior.

And i didnt know that you had readers of THE SUN in the sikh sangat , not very Sikhi now!

Dudley guy - the violence only took place because your drunk men pushed the Singhs too far. Also what why do u keep mentioning the violence? What about the hours and hours of simran? DId that Just not happen? Or were u too busy with ur gidda? Learn what Sikhi is first before slanderin Gursikhs and having Singh in ur name.

Also, this story has made it on the sun where once again they use the word militant. Can we all please write to these newspapers and tell them what really went on and they are being really prejudice etc. And as Sikhs we will boycott their newspapers.

So yes i do have Singh in my name, what gives you the right to comment on me having singh in my name,?

Sikhi is about tollorance or has that been forgotten, and i didnt see any drunk men there....did you?

So your a reader of The Sun news paper.... or is that just for the pictures. were's your Sikhi gone now?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
