Leave Hindus out of it. Yes Hindus made up the mobs that killed Sikhs in the thousands all across India. No doubt. But the word Hindu encompasses the entire Hindu community and we all know not ALL Hindus were in support of killing innocent people.

By writing "Hindu Terror" we would be just as stupid and idiotic as the racist conservative bigots who spew hatred at entire communities without reason.

Our Guru teaches us to call a wrong a wrong, labelling all Hindus as the "terror" isn't accurate.

Also a Benti, Don't burn Indian flags or effigees at this march. I dislike India as much as the next guy but this is a pointless way of channeling anger which bears no fruit. Also, doing such things influences the perception other people have of us and will lead to our community being called one of "extremists" and "fanatics". If that happens, it will take attention away from what this whole gathering is really about, remembrance of and justice for the victims of 1984.

I agree with Singhballer!!! Using Hindu in our slogans makes us out to be anti-Hindu...so its best to stay away from such slogans.

Also, i really like the idea by West London Singh about the Union Jack! Alot of passerby's don't actually read our signs or actually listen to our chants and make an automatic perception that we're another extremist group that hates the UK and want to blow up the west. By having Union Jacks on boards and flags automatically shows the common man that we are patriotic, proud to be British and no threat to UK and more importantly (as West London Singh said)...this in itself is half the battle won when trying to raise awareness to the UK public! We as a community are not very savvy when it comes to marketing but the Union Jack idea is definitely an excellent idea!

I don't think its a matter of being scared but being strategic and clever about gaining as much public support/recognition - now we need to really step up our game and begin to 'play the game tactfully. The world doesn't care for our cause but its now time we make them care through our intelligence!

On the day we should be very conscious regarding the image we portray to the world...as our main is much greater (Khalistan).

Public opinion can and will help our cause, so having union jacks can only be a benefit for us.
