I doubt OP is waiting on replies, haha, but another good book is 1984: India's Guilty Secret by Pav Singh.

Haha yeah I don't he is waiting, but it's a good book so I thought I'd mention it lol

I got a feeling a lot of the books about that time are biased so I rather read one from our view rather than any politicians etc

Fighting for faith and nation is like a interview with the singhs who lives through that time.

Are there any books about the 70s and 80s like the events leading to 1984    about the false police encounters and things like that

My mum said two boys were picked by the police from her pind back in the early 80s and they never came back.

My mum said all her brothers had jooreh and wore paghs so my nani never used to let them go out that much because it was really bad.  Apparently all this continued untill the early 90s

Were all the way from doaba and the situation sounded so bad imagine what it was like in majha

Pav Singh is one of us. He's a journalist from the UK. He basically rips the Indian establishment a new one with facts. There's no bias or embellishments. It's laid out in black and white.

Why did India started walking towards its own suicide by doing this ?

They barely survived the 800 year of islamic onslaught , and now they sowed the seed of something far worse by doing this !!

I wish I could live eternity to see the karmic effects unfold
