Baba Deep Singh Ji ( Sees On Hand )

Recommended Posts

my faith is strong enough but I care about my sikh parivar. I cant just stay silent when someone keeps saying stuff with strong intention of creating confusion and not believing that Guru Sahib is Samrath.

Just because you believe that Guru sahib is samrath , not all people , esp non-sikhs will believe that guru sahib is samrath ... why it is bothering you so much lefts unanswered !

I thinking understanding and believing that Baba Deep SIngh ji's head was cut and he continued to breath is very important to a Sikh. The Gurus when far and wide to teach about Sikhi and Sri Waheguru ji Maharaj sent Satguru down to uplift the narrow minded thinking. It is a genuine concern for a Sikh to worry about wrong teachinges being taught to Sikhs and nonsikhs. And Satguru IS Samrath. Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj didn't teach on beliefs and said maybe or maybe not something can be true. Satguru taught in complete certainty and left a perfect recipe to be Akal, without fear, without hatred, perfect in everyway. Baba Deep Singh ji acheived this state and he was a living example of it.

Missionaries deny this happened because they don't believe in their being a soul in each person. They believe that the breath is what that keeps a person alive and if this is taken then the person is dead. If you present the tuk that Mehtab Singh presented, then these type of people will twist the tuk and say that the tuk is saying the Lord can do anything and there is nothing else to it. This type of twisted thinking does need to be questioned and then answered.

In Krishna avtar of Dasam Granth sahib, Guru sahib has created a character named Kharag singh who fights and defeats

combined army of Krishna and Muslims.

After a long battle Krisna is unable to match match bravery of kharag singh.He takes off head of kharag singh by deception.

Kharag singh continues his fight without head. That was a prediction of Guru sahib and Baba Deep singh proved that prediction.

Though the head of the king was cut, but still he remained stable and catching his head from his hair, he threw it towards Krishna; it seemed as if his pranas (vital force) had reached Krishna in order to bid farewell to him;

That head hit Krishna and he could not keep standing; he fell down unconscious; see the bravery of the head of the king; on being hit by it, the Lord (Krishna) fell down from his chariot on the earth.1701.

The headless king was extremely enraged in his mind and advanced towards the twelve Suryas;

Someone fell with his blow and someone with the thumping of that blow; he ripped and threw someone towards the sky;

He caused the horses to collide with horses, the chariots to collide with chariots and the elephants to collide with the elephants; in this way, according to the poet, he began to dispatch the enemy to the abode of Yama.1705.

Dasam Granth - Bachittar Natak

He protected the forehead mark and sacred thread (of the Hindus) which marked a great event in the Iron age.

For the sake of saints, he laid down his head without even a sign.13.

For the sake of Dharma, he sacrificed himself. He laid down his head but not his creed.

The saints of the Lord abhor the performance of miracles and malpractices. 14.

What miracle did Baba Deep Singh ji perform? He did ardas and Satguru fullfilled his ardas. People do ardas everyday asking for new cars, a son, more to eat, a wealthy life, to get an A on a science exam and Satguru fillfulls these wants and needs. But when it comes to a Gurmukh and his ardas, then people want to jump on him and speak against it. Satguru blesses a child to a woman that couldn't have one. Sri Waheguru ji Maharaj gives to those that ask for worldly things, so how can't he give the gift of being immortal to a Singh that became his true servant? Not only did Baba Deep Singh ji serve humanity, but he served it, in Akal Purakhs name. Did Baba Deep Singh ji carry his head on hand through any of the five vices? Miracles are performed when a person does something from the five vices.

Oh it makes perfect sense now....the ardas didn't protect him from getting his head decapitated in the first place, but allowed him to carry his head on his hand afterwards. Yep, it makes sense now, thanks GPS for clearing that up.

According to wikipeadia a miracle is defined as:

A miracle is an event attributed to divine intervention. Sometimes an event is also attributed (in part) to a miracle worker, saint, or religious leader. A miracle is sometimes thought of as a perceptible interruption of the laws of nature.

It is difficult to believe if looking at the situation from a wholly logical and scientific viewpoint.

BUT it boils down to that fact that if you believe in Waheguru and his grace, then Baba Deep Singh Ji's feat was par for the course for a Gursikh such as him. I don't see why anyone would manufacture this "legend" in order to mislead people if that's what the doubters are trying to imply. The fact that these kind of events don't happen these days (or out in the open for all to see like the old times) is probably because many of us simply don't have that shardaa and utter belief in God.

But like I said, I do understand why the cynics are asking these questions and I guess they have a right to air their opinions. It gives us something to discuss! :smile2:

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
