The symbol is called the "Flower of life" and it appears in many different cultures (including India)... I doubt that the British illuminati put it there!

here's the wikipedia article for it...

here's also a bit better image..

are there checkered boxes on either side of the flower of life?

i know theres patterns all around the parkama, but i would like to know if checkered boxes are on both sides of the flower of life? are there any other pictures available that show more of the parkama?

does any one know when the marble parkama was built in sri darbar sahib? and were the patterns laid dwn at the same time?...

reason i ask is because there was a thick population of freemasion sikhs during british raj... i dont know about now though.

You never know. The mainstream population will just take a design and think, 'Oh that looks lovely'. But those 'in the know' with esoteric symbols will always see something else. Even the checkerboard print is considered an esoteric pattern, symbolising the seen and unseen aspects of nature and life.

People on this forum need to be careful of watching conspiracy videos and visiting conspiracy sites. The Flower of life symbol can also be found in Hampi and Ajanta in southern India. These sites range from 300 BC for Ajanta to 1300 AD for Hampi. So it's highly unlikely that the British had anything to do with bringing these symbols to India as they existed prior to their arrival. This symbol along with others would have been known to craftsmen in India so when the marble was laid these symbols would have been placed there. No great conspiracy.

Agreed 100%.

Southall, i agree with you all those things did happen, but if you watch the video I posted you will see that the illuminati conspiracy theory has nothing to do with the flower. If anything it goes against what the illuminati would try to do- disconnect everyone from the Truth.

It seems very much in line with Sikhi. I think the video didn't do justice to the meaning though. Remember, we shouldn't look at everything, even something that may have deep roots within Sikhi with a negative eye without proof.
