Too busy stroking their iPhones.

No, I'm joking. I use to know a lot of fellow Sikhs who were into martial arts of all kinds. You can't just generalise a whole group of people based on personal experiences or hearsay.

Cos they enjoy taking on battles that they cant win and then running away in the opposite direction with their jooreh open.

Singhs are just into mindless aggression nowadays and then get surprised when they get whooped. I wonder why?

This is from the other thread opened by yubacitysingh, which is being closed

watch the 5 min 30 sec mark to 6 min mark and carfully listen from 6 minute mark to 6 min and 5 second mark

what would inspire sikhs to also take up combat training and to traiin from childhool into adulthood so when sikhs are attacked we can actually put an army together ready to fight

80's and 90's after 200 000 inocent sikhs were killed the sikkhs still weren't inspired which is sad so what would it take for sikhs to learn to defend themselves and to fight against injustice

If you don't like your surroundings or your own Singhs, then get out of that bed and make a difference. This continuous self-loathing some Sikhs seem to have is not a good thing to carry on. Your comments are ignorant because you're generalising and writing based on your own prejudices . I'm saying it how it is pal, or at least how I perceive it. And I dont feel the need to get out of bed and make a difference. I'm not a guy that pretends that he is some kind of holy crusader warrior, picks fights with other communities, the authorities, police, or worse still members of my own religion, only to get my backside kicked due to my own inadequacy.

I dont consider it self loathing.. more like loathing of people that act like idiots. So clearly, you have labelled me as a pessimist. As an optimist, do you wanna share what you see that I dont?

Can mods check to see if "Sarabjeet" is really from Mumbai from his IP? You can whois the IP with it and check to see if he's lying or not.

My guess is he's intentionally posting gandh to get a reaction from sangat, but obviously fails. Either that or he could sincerely believe everything he types, which i hope (know) is not the case.

I see Dhan Guru de Sikh and Dhan Guru Nanak g di Sikhi. Akaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fact: The indian state is trying to wipe out Sikhi from Punjab through media, drugs, alcohol, enviornmental pollution that causes cancer. Why? You know the answer. :p

The amount of good and bad people from the time of Guru Sahiban and now is the SAME. You just have to be positive and look at the good. So many fams are getting into Sikhi in the US, UK, Canada. Who cares what you say though, won't change a thing.

I think it would be great to create a way to attract teacher's and student's of Gatka. If this is difficult to do, then perhaps instituting different martial arts programs would be beneficial. I think that Krav Maga would be ideal as it is an unarmed system of defense which was created after WWII by the Jewish people so that no Jewish Man or Woman would ever be repressed again. It is growing in popularity, teachers are becoming easier to find, and it is a real world means for Sikhs to defend themselves and others!

Will it show you how to protect your kesh (hair and beard)? They have techniques when long hair is pulled. But how does this apply to a turban and beard. I know Jews have beards, but they can trim a bit. Also what many believe is a disadavantage in empty hand ie. turabn and beard, how can this be turned into advantge and be used to confront armed and empty hand situations. This should also include ground defence. If you going to practise a gora art make sure you can adapt it to yourself. Else you are waisting time and money.

    • Hopefully he does his brother's efforts justice, and doesn't try to reshape and re-assess Bhai Jagraj Singh's beliefs and legacy to promote the Globalist neo-Communist doctrine of which he's a passionate adherent. Hey, what am I saying, this is Sunny Hundal and the BBC, they can't not follow the narrative. And I'm beginning to suspect Hundal has latched onto his brother's untimely passing as currency to advance his own career and ideals. If that's actually true, then he's a terrible human being.
    • Journalist Sunny Hundal explores the legacy of his late brother Jagraj Singh, the most popular Sikh leader of modern Britain, who sparked an unprecedented revival of young people returning to the faith. https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2020/04/young-sikh-and-proud?fbclid=IwAR18ZCUZ-iOhZxgizy10iNCqAEtQol3rXL5x-bEAH3BfqPnNq8bgx-5iMps
    • If people of other religions, live their lives by following the principles of good moral behaviour, then these people will receive a good quality of life, in the next life. If a person wants to get in to Sachkhand, then they have to adhere to 10th Patshahi’s Sikhi, there’s no other route. Every era has their own maryada and rules. The maryada of this era, is that of Gursikhi, as prescribed by 10th Patshahi. Some people may ask, what about people before 10th Patshahi came to earth? 10th Patshahi’s maryada was always required. Look at the facts! Kesh were kept intact, by everyone, until a Demon minded king forced the kesh cutting of Brahmins, in order to rid them of their spiritual strength. Physical relations before marriage, or extra marital relations are forbidden in all scriptures. Tobacco is considered evil, even in ancient Sanskrit scriptures. Alcohol consumption and intoxicants are also forbidden in ancient scriptures. The killing of and consumption of animal flesh is also a punishable act in the court of the Dharam Raj. So, any deviance from the maryada will result in suffering. Any adherence to the maryada will result in sukh. The bottom line... If you want to get in to Sachkhand, Khandey di pauhal, and strict adherence to code of conduct is a complete necessity. Whether you take Amrit in this life, or the next life or lives, is up to you...
    • THEY BURN IN HELL!!!! THEY'RE BEATEN BY DEMONS!  Nah, I'm kidding. It's a good question. I myself have wondered how the "system" for organising and processing these issues in the afterlife is designed. It would suggest, based on what happens here on Earth, that the followers of all but one faith will be disappointed, to say the least, when they're confronted by the objective parameters of the reality of in the Great Beyond. My theory, based on years of unhinged daydreams, is that every soul needs to incarnate into every belief system before "moving on" and completing a particular cycle of rebirth. If you're spiritually attuned, it's quite obvious to spot the people in their present lifetimes who previously belonged to a particular religion, or held certain beliefs, in a previous lifetime, because they carry over much of the baggage, attitude, and demeanour of their previous selves, which they just haven't been able to shed in their latest incarnation. So, what happens is they transpose that innate manner of being they've accumulated over many lifetimes, and it's continued in their present. There's no conscious desire to progress on a higher level. Now, you could argue the material world makes it impossible to keep these lofty thoughts at the forefront of our minds; that navigating life is difficult enough without the individual going to the lengths of conducting a parallel spiritual meta-narrative alongside their daily corporeal narrative, that is seemingly difficult to prove in an objective sense, and therefore increasingly viewed as non-existent and foolish in this age of spiritual decadence. Contrary to what's taught by preachers, transcending religion and becoming one with the Creator is not an overnight or one-lifetime feat for the vast majority. You have to earn it through arduous, countless lifetimes, and I feel in this respect many Sikhs will be immensely disheartened when they come to realise this in their own situations.  But, yeah, keep following and listening to the corrupt God-men, lol. They've got your back... 😁
