my suggestion would be to hold an akhand paath at your house, preferably with a lareevar saroop of guru granth sahib ji maharaj. have high avastha, rehatvaan gursikhs do the paath, if possible have keertan done at your house by similar gursikhs, and have a panj gursikh ardas for removal of all problems. jaaps of any paaths like sukhmani sahib and jap ji sahib followed by ardas are also a good idea. also all your family should wear sarbloh kare and kirpana and do nitnem and ardas everyday.

Sexual desire, anger, the intoxication of egotism and emotional attachment are dispelled, by loving devotion.

ਆਨੰਦ ਮਗਨ ਰਸਿ ਰਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਨਾਗੈ ॥੨॥੪॥੬੮॥

Ānanḏ magan ras rām rang Nānak sarnāgai. ||2||4||68||

One who enters the Lord's Sanctuary, O Nanak, remains merged in ecstasy in the subtle essence of the Lord's Love. ||2||4||68||

I can definitely say black magic exists as we had a personal experience also, however the true way to get rid of this is Bani. Reciting and meditating upon Bani is the way to secure yourselves. I am not saying it for the sake of it, it actually is true.

I will share the story with the sangat here. My nephew was born, my brothers first newborn, and as you know you have family and friends coming around to give their love and wishes, traditionally through money. My pabi ji wasnt sure of the ladies and what she decided to do was keep all my nephews money in a box and then open a savings account for him and add it in there so she never paid attention to who gave what.

Few days later pabi ji was gathering all the money together for my brother to deposit it in the bank under nephews name. she was straightening the notes out and a small paper dropped out in the sign of red swastika. My pabi looked at it and thought right what on earth is this, my bibi looked and screamed, she said oh my god someone's done black magic. We thought bibi's just lost the plot so we didnt make much of it, my pabi just chucked it in the bin in her room.

2 weeks in my nephew started to become irritated and would not stop crying, as babies normally cry we again didn't make much of it. he had a high fever, we called the doctor in, doctor just gave a few injections and said it should wear off within 24 hours. But my nephew still would not stop crying we tried feeding him, changing him, giving him space, but nothing worked.

Following day my nephew was still deteriorating, fever was still there, but some lady popped around and start panicking going to my pabi ji oh I heard your son has diarrhoea which doesnt stop, we were all confused thinking what are you on about he dont have diarrhoea hes just ill and got high temperature. So the lady made a funny face and walked off. Later that day nephew really ended up with reall sever diarrhoea, he was just constantly pouring out diarrhoea. We called the doctors in again but they could not find anything wrong with him and didnt have a clue what was going on, they advised to hospitalise him, we hospitalised him and yet still specialist upon specialist came and no one had the slight idea what happened, his reports just came in normal. So they sent nephew home after a few more medicines and injections.

But he was still the same no improvement and this time discouloured diarrhoea was being produced, we left our front door open to allow air in as he was boiling with fever, we saw our 3 local granthi's walking past who then peeped in to see if we were okay as pabi ji was panicking and bibi was crying. Granthi's knew in an instance what was going on they said to come Amrit vela to gurdwara with nephew and make sure we do degh aswell from home.

We took nephew to Gurdwara and granthi ji laid him infront of Maharaj Ji, done the most amazing ardas, and the most amazing Hukamnama came which was:

taatee vaa-o na lag-ee paarbarahm sarnaa-ee.

The hot wind does not even touch one who is under the Protection of the Supreme Lord God.

cha-ugirad hamaarai raam kaar dukh lagai na bhaa-ee.

On all four sides I am surrounded by the Lord's Circle of Protection; pain does not afflict me, O Siblings of Destiny.

satgur pooraa bhayti-aa jin banat banaa-ee.

I have met the Perfect True Guru, who has done this deed.

raam naam a-ukhaDh dee-aa aykaa liv laa-ee. rahaa-o.

He has given me the medicine of the Lord's Name, and I enshrine love for the One Lord.

raakh lee-ay tin rakhanhaar sabh bi-aaDh mitaa-ee.

The Savior Lord has saved me, and eradicated all my sickness.

kaho naanak kirpaa bha-ee parabh bha-ay sahaa-ee.

Says Nanak, God has showered me with His Mercy; He has become my help and support.

And thanks to Guru Ji, within 2 days baby nephew was back to his normal self. Gyani Ji said himself as pabi ji done a lot of paaht that is exactly what saved them.

So Bani is the most powerful cure to everything. You just need to believe and have faith in it.

As for black magic, i don't think it exists, but if you do Sri Akhand Path Sahib try to sit and listen as much as you can if you can not read.

coming from a family where experiences of black magic have been done i say just keep reading bani as much as possible, the moment you slack off thats when these things become stronger, the more bani the more they stay away and your never harmed.

Sikhs do not bleive i black magic,pls do fall in a trap by people telling you something different.

Just do ardas to God for help and be asured help will come.

we also dont believe in doign bad deeds. it dont mean that bad deeds dont exist. : /

chaupi sahib paat is vadhu here. for obvious reasons, do as many as possible. but 5 chaupis, with sharda, u can stop any badness comming to you.

5 mool mantars with sharda (reverance), does the same.

any black magic / ill wishes that have been or are being done on you, will turn back onto the one who initiated the black magic, and it will happen to them.

all manner of beings bow to akaal purakh. so we are told to see akaalpurakh as our guru, what harm can ever come to us? none. this goes even so far as to say that superstitions like dont go to funeral . graveyard in u pregnant, all dissolve. all badness dissolves under gur-sharan.
