why is she on even though she flopped the bbc program on sikhs? we've already given her a chance.

i agree, upinder randhawa should continue as main presenter, and others they bring in now they should try to get atleast a few turbanned singhs/singhnis, it will help in the long term with all the non-sikhs watching.

This is not a good idea for Sangat TV, to have Sonia Deol as a presenter.

I am pretty sure you can find chardi kala Singhniya presenters who will do the work,

twice as hard, and for half the price!

Sonia is just trying to cash in on Sangat TV fame. She wants to gain some fame and probably want to progress her career through Sangat TV. Where was she untill now..if she wanted to present on Sangat TV. How come she suddenly got interested. I think Sangat TV will loose some credibility because of her presence as whole sikh community knows what she did in that BBC documentary.

I'm sure Sonia Deol is doing it for free. Sangat tv is being watched worldwide online and on sky by thousands of non Sikhs. Expect the channel to by hogged by those wishing to promote their agendas and careers

If anything Sonia should be given a role in a studio or something not as a roaming reporter not in that group of guys anyways. We have many talented individuals who want a start to a career in the media they should be given their chances after having auditions off course.

Her father Baldev Sidhu a staunch Congress supporter and Punjabi translator was jailed in the U.K for perjury. Something to do with false translations. BBC did their best to cover it up so as not to discredit one of their members of staff. Now the dust has settled over the programme and her fathers issue, she has crawled out of her hole to seek fame again. She is a leech and will use whatever is necessary to advance her career. She is a disgrace and I hope Sangat TV and Upinder Randhawa do not align themselves with her as they will lose a lot of respect they have gained.

What's she playing at? Sangat TV should know better than to employ this disgrace of a woman. This is the same Sonia Deol that relishes in poking fun (on her BBC radio show) at how antiquated and embarrassing Asian people are. Now she's purporting to speak for us? Clear off Deol, you're a disgrace.
