THE UK CONTINGENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL PANTHIC DAL HAS NOW OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED IN THE UK.

We need people from all walks of life to come forward and contribute. More information will be made available in due course.

The attached statement is in response to the following:-

It was 30th June 2011 when we first heard the term anti-India used by the Indian 'Machinary'. Indian External Affairs Minister Mr.Krishna met

Foreign Sec. Mr. William Hague in London and commented about the 'anti-India demonstrations' being held in the UK, referring to

pro-Khalistan Sikhs demo at Trafalgar Square and possible Kamal Nath demo in London.

Indian Express newspaper headline was 'Uk assures India-will curb anti-India protests'.

The second time was approx 20 July 2011 with the arrest of Gulab Nabi Fai in the USA, the arrest was headlined by Indian papers and then by

western news agencies as 'anti-Indian Lobbyist arrested'.

Why has the post by Punjab 5 been removed, which was asking certain questions about the IPD ????

!!! BECAUSE HE IS THE EPITOME OF THAT WHAT A SIKH SHOULD NOT BE !!!

I.P.D WILL COLLABORATE, WITHOUT PREJUDICE, WITH ANY OTHER ORGANISATION THAT UPHOLDS RESPECT FOR

SAHIB SRI GURU GRANTH JI MAHARAJ AND GURU KHALSA PANTH.

WAKE UP, SNIFF THE COFFEE !! IT'S THE 21st CENTURY SO GET WITH IT !!

COME ON....LET'S WORK OUT WHO THE REAL ENEMY IS !!

why do we waste our time and energy writing slur about others when in

that time you could have:-

done an ardaas for the Panth

or

recited chaupai

or

drafted a letter to an MP

or

flagged an anti-Sikh video on youtube as offensive

or

put forward constructive ideas

or

YOU DECIDE HOW YOU CAN HELP THE PANTH ACHIEVE ITS LONG OVERDUE AMBITIONS

All that was asked were some simple questions for clarification, if IPD is to respected then transperncy is important. Asking some questions for clarity is not against Sikhi, attacking an organisation maybe.

Unfortunatley l cannot remember all the questions asked, maybe the Moderators can put the post by Punjab 5 up again, so IPD can answer the questions asked, unless IPD has something to hide ?

Humble apology, the comment was really meant for Punjab5. I wish not to prolong the discussion on this thread other than to say that I.P.D has got nothing to hide. We are genuinely here to ensure Sikhs around the world come together and make a positive change towards the betterment of the Khalsa Panth.

International Panthic Dal (I.P.D) is working on the Sikh principles of Miri-Piri representing temporal and spiritual balance the following aims are being pursued:

Freedom - to practice Sikhism globally and establish an independent Sikh State;

Justice - to obtain justice for the victims of anti-Sikh acts;

Parchaar - to promote Sikhism around the globe;

Seva - to undertake selfless service of humanity;

Welfare - to provide welfare support to Panthic individuals, families and groups;

Feel free to contact us for further information or if you want to get involved at info@panthicdal.com

My questions were not aimed at attacking the IPD, but merley questions for clarification. I am suprised that these were removed, i as far as saying that i am seriously considering withdrawing from Sikh sangat discussions.

The aims of IPD are applaudable, but are similar to a number of existing organisations. If one of the the aims is to ensure that Sikhs around the world come together, then were all existing organisations invited and consulted with, including in Punjab, Akali Dal Amritsar, Akali Dal panch pardani, Dal Khalsa, in the UK, the SF UK, Akand Kirtani jatha, Sikh Council?

Would expect some answers to earlier questions asked, this would clarify a lot of issues and may encourage people to join IPD.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
